The Dodgers and catcher Will Smith are working on a long-term extension, per a report from Juan Toribio of MLB.com. It will be a ten-year contract, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. It comes with a $140MM guarantee, per Jeff Passan of ESPN, who adds that the two sides are finalizing the deal. The deal includes some deferred money, per Mark Feinsand of MLB.com.
