Weekly Accuracy Recap | Week 6 IDP Start Sit
Week | Hit Rate | Start Rate % | Sit Rate % | Stream Rate % | Top Performer |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Week 1 | 62.5% | 66.6% | 33.3% | 100% | Jarvis Brownlee (CB1) |
Week 2 | 37.5% | 66.6% | 33.3% | 0% | Tykee Smith (DB11) |
Week 3 | 38.4% | 33.3% | 66.6% | 25% | Cooper DeJean (DB17) |
Week 4 | 61.5% | 83.3% | 66.6% | 25% | Cole Bishop (DB17) |
Week 5 | 81.8% | 80% | 66.6% | 75% | Marcus Jones (DB8) |
We head into Week 6 with our best week of the year—an 81.8% hit rate overall. I removed Jack Sanborn and Justin Reid as both players left with injuries in the first half, and it wouldn’t be fair to count them. The sit hit rate has been remarkably consistent, and we had a strong week for our premium positions with Marcus Jones being our top performer as the DB8 overall. Let’s keep this train rolling and hope to come in strong again for Week 6.

Defensive Line | Start/Sit Player Analysis Week 6
Yaya Diaby | DL | Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of the most exciting teams in the NFL this season, seemingly winning one-score games week after week. While their offense gets all the credit, this is a very underrated defense. In Week 6, we highlight EDGE rusher Yaya Diaby in a favorable matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, who allow the most tackles per game (21.8) to the position.
For Bucs, Yaya Diaby has 22 pressures this year and a pressure rate of 16.8% per @NextGenStats. Haason Reddick has 19 pressures, and a pressure rate of 16%. But they’re not finishing with sacks. It’s time to look into this.
— Bucs Juice (@BucsJuice) October 6, 2025
The exciting pass rusher has been solid this season, ranking 55th out of 167 players with a 66.7 pass rush grade according to Pro Football Focus. Diaby has 12 pressures and 2 sacks over his last three games. I love his chances to collect his third double-digit fantasy performance over his previous four games in Week 6.
Malcolm Koonce | DL | Las Vegas Raiders
It’s easy for me to give you top performers to start every week, but you know I never liked easy. We gain the advantage over our leaguemates by diving deep into your dynasty leagues. Malcolm Koonce is a player who could shock you this week. He’s the DL97 this season, averaging eight fantasy points per game. He gets a boost playing opposite of Maxx Crosby and has a great matchup this week against the Tennessee Titans, who have allowed 3.8 sacks per game this season. Koonce has registered 10 points in back-to-back games. IDP managers can ride the hot hand here and expect a third-straight double-digit performance.

Linebackers | IDP Week 6 Start/Sit Fantasy Football

---|---|---|---|---|
Devin Lloyd | Jaguars | Seahawks | 71% | âś… |
Kaden Ellis | Falcons | Bills | 100% | âś… |
Linebacker | Week 6 Start/Sit Rankings
Devin Lloyd | LB | Jacksonville Jaguars
The hottest linebacker in IDP fantasy football right now is Devin Lloyd. The former Utah LB started the season in a rotational role and posted just four fantasy points. Since then, he has shown why he was a former 1st round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. The Jaguars elected not to pick up his player option, and Lloyd is making them regret that just one month into the season. He is the LB18 on the season and leads the NFL in interceptions and defensive touchdowns.
Kaden Ellis | LB | Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons will be coming off the bye to host the Buffalo Bills, a team with its worst offensive performance of the season. I expect the Buffalo offense to be much better this week and to get back to scoring 30 points per game. This is an excellent opportunity for IDP managers to fire up Kaden Ellis. The Falcons LB is an every-down player who has finished with double-digit fantasy points in his last two games. The Buffalo offense allowed 16 tackles to starting LBs in Week 5 and has allowed 17 per game on the season.
Defensive Backs | IDP Week 6 Start/Sit
Player | Team | Opponent | Snap% | Start |
---|---|---|---|---|
DeShon Elliott | Steelers | Browns | 73% | âś… |
Dadrion Taylor-Demerson | Cardinals | Colts | 59% | âś… |
Defensive Backs | Start/Sit Week 6 Fantasy Football
DeShon Elliott | DB | Pittsburgh Steelers
An early-season injury saw IDP managers fade Steelers DB DeShon Elliott. We have quickly forgotten that he finished as the DB13 last season. He has been highly productive in his two complete games this season, including a 22.65 FPPG, the highest for any DB. He has collected 12 tackles, an interception, and a sack in those games. Elliott will face the division rival Cleveland Browns, who allow 15.6 tackles per game to safeties this season. Elliott collected 19 tackles in his two games against Cleveland last season. There’s no reason to believe he won’t continue his success and have a big week for IDP managers.
Dadrion Taylor-Demerson | DB | Arizona Cardinals
If you read the Week 6 Waiver Wire content, you know I’m high on Dadrion Taylor-Demerson. The Arizona Cardinals have rewarded him with more snaps, and he has delivered 15 fantasy points or more in three straight games. He has 14 of his 18 tackles on the season in those games. The Week 6 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts is favorable. They allow the most tackles per game (16.7) to safeties.
Top IDPs to Stream in Week 6 | Start/Sit Fantasy Football Advice
Player | Pos | Team | Opponent | Stream |
---|---|---|---|---|
Maliek Collins | DT | Browns | Steelers | âś… |
Kris Jenkins | DT | Bengals | Packers | âś… |
Jalyn Armour-Davis | CB | Titans | Raiders | âś… |
Mehki Blackmon | CB | Colts | Cardinals | âś… |
Maliek Collins | DT | Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns have a fantastic defense, and I typically love to stream players who play alongside elite-level pass rushers. Myles Garrett draws so much attention that it allows others to win one-on-one matchups. This season, Maliek Collins has benefited from that, scoring 20 fantasy points in two of his last three games. Collins should be a strong streaming option for IDP managers looking to fill a defensive tackle spot during bye weeks.
Kris Jenkins | DT | Cincinnati Bengals
The Green Bay Packers have been a solid team to stream against this season, allowing 17 tackles per game to defensive linemen. Kris Jenkins is a nice spot start this week; he’s posted seven fantasy points or more in every game this season. Green Bay has allowed 2.7 sacks per game over its last three contests, and Jenkins has played more than half of his snaps on pass-rushing downs. He’s a sneaky Week 6 streamer with sack upside.
Jalyn Armour-Davis | CB | Tennessee Titans
The defensive back position is one of the easiest to stream in IDP fantasy football, and Jalyn Armour-Davis is this week’s top CB streaming option. After the Titans traded away Jarvis Brownlee, Armour-Davis capitalized on the opportunity with nine tackles last week. He now draws another favorable matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, who continue to allow strong fantasy output to opposing corners. He’s a great play in CB-required leagues.
Mehki Blackmon | CB | Indianapolis Colts
The retirement of veteran CB Xavien Howard has opened up an opportunity for Mehki Blackmon, who logged his first 100% defensive snap share of the season last week. Blackmon has averaged 14.6 fantasy points per game over his last four contests and is still available in 97% of leagues. With the Arizona Cardinals expected to push the pace offensively, this game script sets up perfectly for another strong performance. Blackmon remains a top one-week streaming target.

Players to Sit | Week 6 Fantasy Football
Player | Pos | Team | Opponent |
---|---|---|---|
Uchenna Nwosu | DL | Seahawks | Jaguars |
Terrel Bernard | LB | Bills | Falcons |
Xavier McKinney | DB | Packers | Bengals |
Uchenna Nwosu | DL | Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks defense has been outstanding this season, but they continue to lack a consistent EDGE presence. Recently, Uchenna Nwosu has stepped up, recording over 40 fantasy points and 2.5 sacks across his last two games. Despite that production, Week 6 presents a tough matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have allowed just 1.2 sacks per game—the fourth fewest in the NFL. Given the matchup, this is a good week to fade Nwosu and temper expectations.
Terrel Bernard | LB | Buffalo Bills
It’s never easy to bench an every-down linebacker, but Terrel Bernard has underwhelmed despite his strong role. Averaging over 13 fantasy points per game, he’s been solid but not spectacular—lacking the impact plays that defined his breakout season. Currently sitting as the LB40 overall, Bernard faces an Atlanta Falcons team allowing just 9.3 tackles per game to opposing linebackers over the last three weeks. The Falcons’ offense limits tackle opportunities, making Bernard a risky play in Week 6 unless you’re short on depth.
Xavier McKinney | DB | Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers’ defense has seen a significant upgrade with the addition of Micah Parsons. However, it’s been a disappointing start for Xavier McKinney, who sits as the DB88 through five weeks. After flashing elite playmaking upside last season, the splash plays haven’t been there in 2025. Without those impact turnovers or game-changing moments, his fantasy production has taken a hit. Until the big plays return, McKinney belongs on the bench in Week 6.
Hidden IDP Gems | Week 6 Fantasy Football Start/Sit
- The Cedric Gray breakout is here—He’s the LB13 on the season and is tied for 4th in the NFL in tackles.
- Nik Bonitto makes a case for Dynasty DL1 overall—6 sacks in his last three games.
- This season, 18 IDPs are averaging over 20 FPPG, with 9 being defensive linemen.
- Bradley Chubb’s bounce-back season continues; he has scored double-digit fantasy points in every game.
- Kenneth Murray is being outproduced by the Cowboys LB2 nearly every week. The writing is on the wall for him to lose his every down role.
- Preseason LB1 favorite Zaire Franklin is struggling in a new system. His 11 FPPG is 58th among LB this season.

FAQ | Week 6 IDP Start/Sit Fantasy Football
Q1: Who are the best IDP starts for Week 6?
A: Top start options for Week 6 include Yaya Diaby (DL, Buccaneers), Devin Lloyd (LB, Jaguars), and DeShon Elliott (DB, Steelers). Each has been consistent and has favorable matchups.
Q2: Which IDP players should I bench in Week 6?
A:Â Xavier McKinney (DB, Packers)Â headlines the sit candidates this week. Sitting at DB88 on the season, McKinney has struggled to make the splash plays that boosted his value last year.
Q3: Who are some under-the-radar IDP plays or sleepers for Week 6?
A: Managers looking for sneaky upside should consider players like Malcolm Koonce (Raiders) and Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (Cardinals). Both are trending up in playing time and have matchups that could yield double-digit fantasy performances.
Q4: How should I approach IDP lineup decisions during bye weeks?
A: Focus on consistent tackle volume and high snap percentages rather than chasing big-play upside. Bye weeks can be disastrous if you don’t prepare for the production dip.
Q5: Which IDP positions produce the most fantasy points over six weeks?
A: Defensive linemen continue to lead the way, fueled by steady sack production and tackle totals. Linebackers remain supreme because of their safe tackle floors, and elite defensive backs are producing at a high rate.
Q6: What’s the best strategy for identifying start/sit decisions in IDP formats?
A: Always follow snap share, usage trends, and matchup data. Players who stay on the field and face high-volume offenses tend to produce more tackles and fantasy points.
