Week 4 Defensive Line Pickups Quick-Tips Table (Condensed)
These are the top 2 DL targets for Week 4 IDP waiver wires:
Player | Team | FAAB | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Bryce Huff | San Francisco 49ers | 15-25% | Must-add after Nick Bosa injury; top-10 PFF pass rush grade |
Chris Rumph II | New Orleans Saints | 5-10% | Highest team pressure rate in Week 3; opportunity with Chase Young injured. |
Bryce Huff | San Francisco 49ers | 15-25% FAAB
Many IDP managers feared the worst on Monday morning. The devastating news was that star EDGE rusher Nick Bosatore his ACL in Week 3 and would, in fact, miss the remainder of the season. It’s impossible to replace a player with this production level; Bosa averaged 25 fantasy points per game through the first two and a half games.
The San Francisco 49ers have been plagued by injuries to star players for the last two seasons. The defense will need a group effort to replace Bosa; the most intriguing player is Bryce Huff. According to Pro Football Focus, the veteran pass rusher ranks 10th in pass rush grade this season. He posted 10 sacks in the 2023 season with the New York Jets under his current defensive coordinator, Robert Saleh. This is a must-add for IDP managers looking to replace Nick Bosa this season.
Chris Rumph II | New Orleans Saints | 5-10% FAAB
The injury to pass rusher Chase Young continues to linger. That has opened up an opportunity for former Duke EDGE rusher Chris Rumph. He’s playing for his second team in his first four seasons but has found some early success this season. Rumph has collected 9 tackles and a sack through the first 3 games. He posted the highest team pressure rate (20%) and pass rush grade (62.0) in Week 3. He should continue to earn more playing time as Chase Young remains on the injury report.

Linebacker Adds (LB) | Week 4 IDP Waiver Wire
Week 4 IDP Waiver Wire Linebacker Pickups (Condensed Table)
Player | Team | FAAB | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Cole Holcomb | Pittsburgh Steelers | 5-10% | Split snaps with Payton Wilson; usable depth add in thin LB market |
Kyzir White | Tennessee Titans | 10-15% | Four straight 90+ tackle seasons; trending toward LB2 role in Tennessee |
Kyzir White | Tennessee Titans | 10-15% FAAB
The veteran linebackers in IDP fantasy football always seem to find a way to kill the momentum of the younger players. When Kyzir White signed to the Titans’ practice squad before the season, it was only a matter of time before he started to learn the playbook and earn defensive snaps.
#FFIDP – Tennessee Titans LINEBACKERS in Week 3:
57 defensive snaps
Cody Barton the only usable TEN LB rn
Unfortunately, it’s stock down for Cedric Gray after playing 93% of snaps last week, Kyzir White was worked in for the first time this season and ate into Gray’s workload pic.twitter.com/jDgZBiP8Pu

Kyzir White made his presence known in Week 3, playing 42.1% of the defensive snaps and 60% of the third and fourth-down snaps. He’s worth an addition as a veteran LB. It’s worth noting that this player has collected at least 90 tackles in four straight seasons while playing for three different teams. If he continues to produce, it won’t be long before he dominates snaps as the Tennessee LB2.
Cole Holcomb | Pittsburgh Steelers | 5-10% FAAB
The fear of all Payton Wilson truthers only took three weeks to become a reality. In the preseason, the second-year LB outplayed his veteran counterpart, Cole Holcomb, earning him the starting role. A rough start for the Steelers’ defense has them shuffling their lineup, and in Week 3, Holcomb played 50% of the snaps to Wilson’s 47%. An unfortunate situation for IDP managers, as usage is leaning towards Holcomb playing on early downs and Wilson being utilized in passing situations. The LB position is so thin that managers will be forced to pick up the veteran for a depth add until we see how the usage at the position shakes out.

IDP Waiver Wire Defensive Back Pickups Week 4 (Condensed)
These are the Week 4 Waiver Wire DBs you need to add for fantasy football:
Player | Team | FAAB | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Isaiah Rodgers | Minnesota Vikings | 1-5% | Elite Week 3 performance (pick-6, 2 FF, FR TD); upside but volatile |
Dadrion Taylor-Demerson | Arizona Cardinals | 1-5% | 85% available in dynasty; reliable streaming safety with upside |
Isaiah Rodgers | Minnesota Vikings | 1-5% FAAB
It’s not often that we consider a cornerback the top defensive back addition, but Isaiah Rodgers ensured that would be the case after his Week 3 performance. The Minnesota DB put on a show, notching the best PFF grade ever at 99.9. He had 3 tackles, 1 interception for a touchdown, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery for a touchdown, and allowed just 1 catch.
Dadrion Taylor-Demerson | Arizona Cardinals | 1-5% FAAB
The Arizona Cardinals are no strangers to employing the three-safety look on defense. In 2025, that third safety will be Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, who, in his second season, is on pace to set career highs in tackles, interceptions, and passes defended. The Cardinals DB is available in over 85% of dynasty leagues. He finished as DB28 in Week 3 and is a top candidate for managers looking for streaming options at the defensive back position.
Drop Candidates to Make Room for Sleepers
Week 4 IDP Waiver Wire | Drop Candidates Table (Condensed)
Player | Team | Reason to Drop | Suggested Replacement |
---|---|---|---|
Arnold Ebiketie | ATL | 3rd in snaps for Falcons pass rushers; 0 pressures in Week 4 | Bryce Huff (DL, SF) |
Christian Harris | HOU | Losing snaps to veteran E.J. Speed; roster clog without injury/role change | Kyzir White (LB, TEN) |
Taylor Rapp | BUF | Outscored by Cole Bishop; no double-digit fantasy games through 3 weeks | Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (DB, ARI) |
- Arnold Ebiketie – Was 3rd on the team among EDGE rusher snaps in Week 3. Additions of rookies Jalon Walker and James Pearce have made him a drop candidate.
- Christian Harris – The Texans’ depth at the LB position has him buried on the depth chart.
- Taylor Rapp – Has yet to record a double-digit fantasy point game and has been a non-factor at the DB position.
Week 4 Top DL, LB, DB Trade Targets
Top Week 4 IDP Trade Targets | DL, LB, DB Must-Adds (Condensed)
These are the top IDP trade targets heading into Week 4 of the NFL Season:
Player | Position | Team | Action | Why |
---|---|---|---|---|
Bradley Chubb | DL | MIA | Trade Away | Production spike at age 29; can leverage Bosa injury for value. Aim for mid-round pick/WR. |
Kenneth Murray | LB | DAL | Trade Away | Remains the top option, but tackling inefficiency could reduce snaps; history of inconsistency. |
Reed Blankenship | DB | PHI | Trade Away | DeJean cutting into snaps/production; past stats won’t sustain. Move him for anything usable. |
- Bradley Chubb – Production has spiked. I recommend selling high to contending managers looking for DL help.
- Kenneth Murray – Remains the Cowboys’ top IDP option. However, his inefficient tackling makes him uncertain if he will keep his role.
- Reed Blankenship – Production dip due to stellar play of Cooper DeJean as a Nickel DB. Has posted 191 tackles over the past two seasons. Move for a late-round rookie pick.

---|---|---|---|
Jonah Laulu | LV | Pass-rushing DT | Currently DT7; averaging 15 FPPG, trending as a sneaky interior producer. |
Danny Stutsman | NO | Rotation LB | Depth stash; could gain snaps with injury/trade among Saints’ starters. |
Lathan Ransom | CAR | DB rotation | Logged 51% of snaps in Week 3; could replace Nick Scott as the season progresses. |
- Jonah Laulu – On pace for a breakout season, averaging over 15 FPPG in 2025.
- Danny Stutsman – Depth stash for non-contending dynasty managers. New Orleans is a fantasy-friendly system for LBs.
- Lathan Ransom – Defensive snap share is increasing, candidate to find a starting role by the halfway point of the season.

FAQ | Week 4 IDP Waiver Wire Pickups
Q: Who is the top IDP waiver wire add for Week 4?
A: Bryce Huff (DL, San Francisco 49ers) is the priority add after Nick Bosa’s season-ending injury. He ranks in the top 10 in PFF pass rush grade and should see a significant uptick in usage.
Q: Which linebacker should I prioritize this week?
A: Kyzir White (LB, Tennessee Titans) is the most reliable option. He has four straight seasons of 90+ tackles and is earning more snaps in Tennessee’s defense.
Q: Are any defensive backs worth adding in Week 4?
A: Yes. Isaiah Rodgers (DB, Minnesota Vikings) is the flashy add after a monster Week 3, while Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (DB, Arizona Cardinals) is a safer long-term streaming option in deeper leagues.
Q: Who are the best drop candidates this week?
A: Arnold Ebiketie (ATL), Christian Harris (HOU), and Taylor Rapp (BUF) are all underperforming and losing snaps. Stronger replacements are widely available.
Q: Should I trade away Bradley Chubb after his big game?
A: Yes, now is the time to sell high. At age 29 and coming off a production spike, you can flip him to a contender for a mid-round pick or upside offensive piece.
Q: Is Kenneth Murray still trustworthy as an LB2?
A: He’s playable for now, but inefficiency and snap risk make him a good sell candidate. Consider trading him away if you can upgrade to a more stable LB.
Q: What deep dynasty stashes should I keep an eye on?
A: Jonah Laulu (DT, LV), Danny Stutsman (LB, NO), and Lathan Ransom (DB, CAR) are young players who are trending up and could earn bigger roles later in the season.
