Week 14 Quarterback Targets | Week 14 Waiver Wire Pickups

JJ McCarthy Photo by Nick WosikaIcon Sportswire

Max Brosmer | Minnesota Vikings | 45% Rostership | 3% FAAB

The Minnesota Vikings turned to undrafted rookie Max Brosmer in Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks. While the stat line was atrocious, Brosmer gets a better Week 14 matchup against the Washington Commanders if J.J. McCarthy is still unable to return from his concussion.

Trey Lance | Los Angeles Chargers | 18% Rostership | 10-20% FAAB

Justin Herbert has a fracture in his left hand and will undergo surgery tomorrow, per Head Coach Jim Harbaugh. It is currently unclear whether Herbert will miss any time. If he does, Trey Lance will take over in Week 14 when Los Angeles hosts the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. Lance will be my priority add at quarterback.

Week 14 Running Back Targets | Week 14 Waiver Wire Pickups

Michael Carter | Arizona Cardinals | 47% Rostership | 1% FAAB

This will be a speculative add with the imminent return of Trey Benson. Either Michael Carter or Bam Knight will see their snaps diminish with Benson’s return. Carter seems to have the trust of the offense during pasing down situations which could keep him in the mix moving forward.

Malik Davis | Dallas Cowboys | 10% Rostership | 3% FAAB*

*8-10% for Javonte Williams Manager

Malik Davis has seen an uptick in playing time on offense in the past three games. On Thanksgiving against Kansas City, Davis rushed three times for 47 rushing yards and a touchdown. As shown above, Davis has a bit more explosiveness than Javonte Williams. Davis looks like the clear handcuff to Williams at the moment and is worthy of a roster add. Davis will be my priority add at running back.

Samaje Perine | Cincinnati Bengals | 41% Rostership | 3% FAAB*

*8-10% for Chase Brown Manager

Samaje Perine returned as the clear handcuff for the Bengals after missing the last two games with an ankle injury. Perine racked up 14 carries in the Bengals’ 32-14 win over the Baltimore Ravens, but also fumbled.

Week 14 Wide Receiver Targets | Week 14 Waiver Wire Pickups

Amon Ra St Brown Photo by Charles BrockIcon Sportswire

Tom Kennedy | Detroit Lions | 0% Rostership | 2% FAAB

Amon-Ra St. Brown did not return after injuring his ankle during the first quarter of the Lions’ Thanksgiving matchup against the Green Bay Packers. The severity of St. Brown’s ankle injury is unknown. In his absence, Tom Kennedy caught all four of his receptions for 36 receiving yards, filling in for the injured Pro Bowl receiver.

Mitch Tinsley | Cincinnati Bengals | 9% Rostership | 2% FAAB

Over the past two games, Mitch Tinsley has seen 15 targets. Unfortunately, Tinsley has only managed to turn those targets into four receptions for 51 receiving yards. His target usage is something to monitor as long as Tee Higgins is out of the lineup.

Devaughn Vele | New Orleans Saints | 37% Rostership | 5-10% FAAB

In Week 13, Devaughn Vele had a career high 93 receiving yards on eight receptions. Vele’s eight targets were second on the team behind only Juwan Johnson. With New Orleans projected to be in a lot of negative game scripts moving forward, Vele is worth a waiver wire add as Vele could be in New Orleans’ future plans as they traded a fourth and seventh round pick to acquire Vele.

Dontayvion Wicks | Green Bay Packers | 49% Rostership | 5-10% FAAB

Dontayvion Wicks celebrated Thanksgiving with a career-high 26.5 fantasy points. Wicks stepped in for an injured Matthew Golden. Wicks led the Packers in receptions (6) and receiving yards (94) while also finding the endzone twice.

Week 14 Tight End Targets | Week 14 Waiver Wire Pickups

Colby Parkinson | Los Angeles Rams | 30% Rostership | 3-5% FAAB

Coming into Week 13, Colby Parkinson was riding a three-game touchdown streak. While he did not find the end zone, Parkinson continues to be heavily targeted by Matthew Stafford, as he has seen at least four targets in 3 of his last four games. With Tyler Higbee on Injured Reserve, Parkinson has taken over as the top tight end in a potent Rams offense
