Already a rising NFL prospect, East Carolina cornerback Shavon Revel Jr. may have improved his draft stock early in Saturday’s contest against Appalachian State.
Revel displayed the qualities that have him gaining first-round buzz on one play alone. With 4:55 remaining in the opening quarter, Revel jumped a route perfectly, using incredible anticipation and closing speed to intercept Mountaineers QB Joey Aguilar before returning it 50 yards for a touchdown.
