Ole Miss defensive end Jared Ivey will be haunting Jackson Arnold in the Oklahoma quarterback’s dreams.
The Sooners had the ball at their 48-yard line down 10-7 in the second quarter of their game Saturday against the Rebels at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi. The Sooners called for a trap running play, but right guard Febechi Nwaiwu was late getting to his spot. He was supposed to pull and block Ivey to open a hole, but Ivey was already at the quarterback by the time Nwaiwu got there.
The result is Arnold got absolutely crushed by Ivey, who forced and recovered a fumble on the play.
