Watch: Ashton Jeanty continues Heisman push vs. Utah State

Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty continued to look like a future Heisman winner in Week 6 against Utah State.

The outstanding back added to his absurd start to the season with a 63-yard touchdown run on his first carry against the Aggies.

In the second quarter, Jeanty added a 75-yard touchdown.

With 11 minutes remaining in the second quarter, Jeanty had eight carries, 159 yards and two touchdowns.

Thanks to his unbelievable start, Jeanty has 90 carries, 1,004 yards and 15 touchdowns through four-plus games.

Former Alabama running back Derrick Henry, the last back to win the Heisman, needed eight games and 180 carries to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark.

Associated Press No. 21 Boise State (3-1) is the leading contender from the Group of Five conferences (AAC, CUSA, MAC, MWC, Sun Belt) to reach the 12-team College Football Playoff.

Per ESPN’s Football Power Index, Boise State (39.5 percent) has the best chance to reach the playoff among Group of Five programs.

With Jeanty establishing himself as arguably the most dynamic skill position player in FBS, the Broncos would be a terrifying opponent in the CFP.
