Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Atlanta Braves fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
The Atlanta Braves’ starting rotation has been a strength this season despite the loss of Spencer Strider to a season-ending elbow injury. The fifth starter spot though has proven problematic. Allan Winans, Darius Vines and Bryce Elder have all gotten an opportunity and none of them have done enough to keep the job. Vines rejoined the active roster Monday at the expense of Elder who was hit hard again in a loss Sunday. Vines appears to be in line to start Thursday’s game in Chicago if he isn’t needed out of the bullpen before then.
This week’s SB Nation Reacts question centers on the fifth starter spot. Who do you think should fill the fifth spot in the rotation for the Braves? Vote below and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
