Travis d’Arnaud reinstated from Paternity List for Atlanta Braves

The Atlanta Braves got a little bit of good news today when it comes to players who are available for them. Travis d’Arnaud missed three games this week after he was placed on the Paternity List. With that being said, it was assumed that d’Arnaud would be back active in time for the Dodgers series and that appears to be the case as he’s been reinstated from the Paternity List earlier today.

Naturally, this means that Chadwick Tromp is heading back to Triple-A Gwinnett after spending the past few days with the major league squad. He didn’t make any appearances this time around and hasn’t played in a big league game for the Braves since May. Sean Murphy held down the fort for all three games while d’Arnaud was busy tending to far more important matters than baseball. Murphy picked up two hits (including a home run), a run and three RBIs while d’Arnaud was gone — all of which came during that Tuesday blowout against the Nationals.
