Jayce Johnson is a 4-star quarterback recruit from Valdosta, Georgia. He’s a 2027 recruit, meaning he’s going into just his junior season of high school football.
As such, he technically has plenty of time to make a decision as to where he’ll play college ball, but a recent visit to Texas A&M made it so that the 4-star was ready to seal the deal.
He always wanted to commit early anyhow, and at Texas A&M, Johnson found everything that he was looking for.
He committed to the Aggies on Monday.
“I always knew I would commit early. I’d been talking about it for a while. I wanted to lock in before my junior season,” Johnson told Chad Simmons of Rivals. “It just felt right. The love they showed — not just to me, but to my mom, dad, and little sister — it meant a lot. I’m big on love and loyalty, and being around the people and the town in the summer really sealed it.”
