Sights and sounds from Day 2 of New York Giants-Lions joint practices

The New York Giants wrapped up their 11th practice of training camp on Tuesday — their last of two joint practices with the Detroit Lions — and it was every bit as physical and violent as the first day.

Before taking the field, head coach Brian Daboll revealed that wide receiver Dennis Houston (hand) and cornerback Christian Holmes (undisclosed) would not practice, while center John Michael Schmitz (shoulder) and linebacker Carter Coughlin remain out.

Tight end Chris Manhertz, who left practice early on Monday, was back on the field.

Practice itself was called 25 minutes early and before the final period due to an increasing number of fights.

Here’s a look at some of the sights and sounds from Tuesday’s joint practice (sans the fights, which can be viewed here).
