Sights and sounds from Day 1 of New York Giants-Lions joint practices

Before taking the field, head coach Brian Daboll revealed that wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton and defensive lineman D.J. Davidson would return to practice after missing a few days due to injury. Davidson would be limited.

Center John Michael Schmitz remained out with a shoulder injury and will not suit up on Thursday night for the team’s first preseason game.
