The Tampa Bay Rays remain an a pretty strong win streak, having cruised through their sweep of the Rangers.

Ahead of that series, I posed two questions. In response to both, y’all were pretty negative!

First: Should the Rays have optioned Chandler Simpson to work on his defense, when he’d provided such a spark to a Rays team adrift? 80% say he should have stayed on the Major League roster.

Objectively, it makes some sense that Simpson was optioned. He can work on his defense playing every day, Misner and Mangum and Morel continue getting primary outfield reps needed for their place on the Rays roster, and there isn’t a logjam for Josh Lowe either.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t hate it! My primary concern was that the Rays had cut the most entertaining player on the roster, which seemed bad for an entertainment product!

Alas, the Rays are winning a ton of games right now, so what do I know?

Speaking of winning games, we also asked about the Rays playoffs outlook, and about as many people say the Rays are playoffs bound as their odds show its likely!
