NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 17, CAROLINA PANTHERS 3

Panthers G Chandler Zavala

A fourth-round draft pick in 2023, Zavala struggled across 374 snaps as a rookie, allowing 33 quarterback pressures from 249 pass-blocking snaps. He was on the field for 54 snaps against the Patriots in this game and looked much improved. NEW YORK GIANTS 14, DETROIT LIONS 3

Giants RBs Eric Gray and Tyrone Tracy Jr.

Gray’s 48-yard touchdown scamper was the longest play of any offensive player across either Thursday night game, while his 4.60 yards per route run was the highest figure of any player to see three or more targets in the Lions-Giants contest. Tracy’s raw rushing numbers look modest, but he forced four missed tackles from just five carries, which will have Giants fans excited about his potential in this offense.
