College football has a new transfer portal and with immediate eligibility now available for first-time transfers and undergraduates, the end of the college football season has basically become free agency.
It’s the wild wild west out there, and the first day the transfer portal opened, this Monday, proved that much. In fact, 771 college football players entered the transfer portal seemingly the moment they were able to.
For comparison’s sake, the most names entered seen before was 270, and that was in the window that was opened on November 21st of this year.
