Chris Sale will be on the mound Thursday as the Atlanta Braves wrap up a road trip with a make up game against the Chicago White Sox. Right-hander Chad Kuhl will get the start for the White Sox.
Orlando Arcia is back in the lineup for Thursday’s game after sitting out both games of Wednesday’s doubleheader. Arcia left Monday’s game in St. Louis due to dizziness and was checked out at a local hospital. Sean Murphy is back behind the plate for the Braves in Thursday’s game. Adam Duvall will get the start in right field over Ramon Laureano.

For the White Sox, Tommy Pham is leading off and will play right field. Pham is 2-for-5 with a double in his career against Sale. Luis Robert Jr. will start in center field and hit third. He will be followed by Eloy Jimenez, who will handle DH duties. Martin Maldonado gets the start behind the plate and will bat ninth. Maldonado has seen Sale more than anyone in Chicago’s lineup and is 3-for-15 with 10 strikeouts in his career against the lefty.
