Orlando Arcia is back in the Braves’ lineup for Friday’s series opener against the Philadelphia Phillies. Arcia missed all three games of the Giants series while dealing with an abscess tooth. Arcia is back at shortstop and is batting eighth. Travis d’Arnaud will be behind the plate and bat sixth while Eli White will make his first start of the season in left after being added to the active roster Friday.
For the Phillies, Bryson Stott will serve as the DH and leadoff. He will be followed by Trea Turner, Alec Bohm and Nick Castellanos. Whit Merrifield will play second base and hit sixth. Former Braves prospect Cristian Pache is in the lineup in left field and is hitting ninth.
