Brian Snitker spoke to reporters Tuesday afternoon before the Braves 3-game series with San Francisco, and gave updates on a few of his position players.
Arcia has an abscessed tooth. Laureano’s back pain has moved toward his oblique. An IL stint is now a possibility

Orlando Arcia was not in the starting lineup when those were released earlier this afternoon and there was some mystery as to why. Arcia is apparently dealing with an abscessed tooth, will miss tonight’s game, and is considered day to day.
Ramon Laurenao missed the entire Pirates series and was out with what was described as a “sore back” and was originally listed as day-to-day. That injury designation has now been updated to be more of an oblique injury and now and IL stint is possible. The Braves will be playing down 2 positions players for Tuesday night’s game.
Snitker also gave an update on the status of Michael Harris II.
Michael Harris II has yet to test his hamstring by running, but that could happen soon. Still no exact timetable for his return. #Braves

Harris has been out since June 15th with a grade 2 hamstring strain, an injury that usually carries a 6-8 week recovery time. Harris has done some light work but has still yet to test his hamstring. Still no timetable for his return.
