The Oregon Ducks have landed a big-time recruit out of Florida in four-star safety Xavier Lherisse.
This is a big deal for Oregon head coach Dan Lanning and his staff, because convincing a player to leave SEC country and come play football in the Pacific Northwest is no small feat, even for a program with the winning history and hype tradition that the Ducks have.
From Melbourne, Florida, it was announced on Wednesday that Lherisse had committed to the Ducks over a group of other big-time programs that included Notre Dame, Auburn, Florida State and Alabama, among others.
