New York Giants release unofficial 2024 depth chart: 6 takeaways

The defensive depth chart plays out as many would expect. The starters have been largely projected by fans and reports alike, and the Giants made no changes to those expectations.

Rakeem Nunez-Roches is listed as the starting defensive tackle alongside Dexter Lawrence, rookie Dru Phillips is the nickel corner and Dane Belton draws the start at safety ahead of rookie Tyler Nubin.

Micah McFadden is the presumed starter over Dyontae Johnson next to Bobby Okereke.

The only interesting note on defense is that Isaiah Simmons is listed as the backup nickel corner ahead of Nick McCloud.
