The Naval Academy always brings out some sharp new uniform look for its annual rivalry game against Army, and this year they are going out of this world.
Navy revealed their look for the 123rd meeting on Monday, and they will have a NASA theme to them.
Take a look.
The team was pretty hyped to get their first look at them.
The uniforms are dedicated to the 54 Navy graduates that went on to become Astronauts. According to the school, no other institution has produced more people for the space program.
That list includes Alan Shephard, who landed on the moon is part of the Apollo 14 mission, and Bruce McCandless II who took part in the first untethered space walk in 1985. That space walk will be featured on one side of the helmet.
This year’s Army-Navy game will be played on Dec. 10, 2022, at 3 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
