Ben Cogdon is a big offensive tackle recruit, and that can be meant literally and figuratively.
He hasn’t even played his senior season of high school football yet, mind you, but he checks in at 6-foot-7 and 285 pounds. The rankings are also high on him. He’s the No. 15 recruit from the talent-laden state of Ohio and the No. 29 offensive tackle in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.
This is good news for Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes, because they just reached all the way up into Ohio to steal Cogdon out of Big Ten country. With Penn State being the other favorite for his commitment, Cogdon committed to Miami late Monday evening.
