Kentucky lands commitment from 5-star center Aaron Bradshaw

The Athletic

Class of 2023 five-star center Aaron Bradshaw has committed to Kentucky, he announced on Instagram on Friday.

Bradshaw, a 7-foot, 210-pound prospect, is ranked as the No. 2 center and No. 6 overall recruit in the 2023 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Bradshaw averaged 8.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.2 blocks per game as junior at Camden High School (N.J.) and chose the Wildcats over UCLA, Maryland, Louisville, Oklahoma State, Michigan and the NBA G League.

“His talent is limitless,” Jason Harrigan, Bradshaw’s former assistant coach at Camden (N.J.) High and current head coach of his Nike-sponsored New Jersey Scholars team, told The Athletic in June. “He’s getting better and better every time he steps on the court. He works really hard on his game, and he affects the game on both ends. He can shoot it, pass it, and his touch around the rim is phenomenal. Defensively, he just has the best timing for blocks, and he’s all of 7 feet, running like a gazelle, gets up and down fast.”

Bradshaw becomes the third five-star commitment in John Calipari’s 2023 class, joining forward Justin Edwards and guard Robert Dillingham. Kentucky is also pursuing Bradshaw’s high school teammate DJ Wagner, the No. 1 player in the class of 2023.
