Keep Trade Cut | Top 12 Startup ADP Wide Receiver Edition

Justin Jefferson featured in Keep Trade Cut Wide Receiver edition

In SuperFlex TE Premium startup drafts, wide receivers are the foundation of long-term dynasty roster construction. Wide receivers offer extended production windows, insulated value, and consistent weekly scoring. While they may not always match the week-winning spike of top running backs, they provide the stability that allows dynasty managers to sustain contention over multiple seasons. Using the latest Dynasty Nerds Superflex Tight End Premium ADP (Average Draft Position), we’ll examine the top 12 wide receivers and determine which four to keep, trade, and “cut” for your dynasty roster.

Wide Receivers to Keep

Ja’Marr Chase | ADP 4.0 | Keep

At 26-years old, Ja’Marr Chase still remains a premier cornerstone asset in dynasty fantasy football. Since entering the league, Chase has produced a 1,000-yard season while also finishing in the top 12 in fantasy points among wide receivers in each of his first five seasons. Chase continued to perform at a high level in 2025, despite inconsistent quarterback play. Chase caught 125 passes for 1,412 yards and 8 touchdowns over 16 games, finishing as the WR4.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba | ADP 6.0 | Keep

On Monday, Jaxon Smith-Njigba signed a historic 4-year, $168.6 million contract extension with the Seattle Seahawks, making him the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history. Smith-Njigba is coming off a season in which he was named the 2025 NFL Offensive Player of the Year, on his way to becoming a Super Bowl Champion, and a career-high season where he went for 1,793 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on 119 receptions. At only 24-years old, JSN can leapfrog Ja’Marr Chase in overall startup value and become the first wide receiver taken off the board, making him a cornerstone piece for your fantasy rosters.

Amon-Ra St. Brown | ADP 11.0 | Keep

Amon-Ra St. Brown has been the model of consistency since entering the league in 2021. St. Brown’s worst fantasy finish was in his rookie year, where he finished as the WR21. Since that season, he has finished in the top 8 with fantasy finishes of WR7, WR3, WR3, and WR3. St. Brown has surpassed 100 receptions and 1,000 yards in each of the past 4 seasons, while scoring double-digit touchdowns over the past 3 making him a safe and reliable option.

Tetairoa McMillan | ADP 28.0 | Keep

Tetairoa McMillan had a fantastic start to his NFL career, catching 70 receptions, 1,014 receiving yards, and 7 touchdowns, which earned the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Currently coming off the board in the third round of startups as the WR9, I think this is good value for the 22-year-old receiver. McMillan has established himself as Carolina’s top offensive weapon, commanding nearly a 10-target per game average. McMillan has yet to tap into his full potential and could still elevate his game to another level.

Wide Receivers to Trade

Puka Nacua | ADP 7.0 | Trade

There is heavy speculation that the Rams will address the quarterback position early in this year’s draft, which could be a factor in Nacua’s production moving forward, e.g., Justin Jefferson. Second, we cannot forget that Nacua’s physical play style has led to him missing time during his three-year NFL career. On Tuesday, news broke of Nacua biting a woman, causing injury, and making antisemitic comments. This will be the second off-field instance that Nacua has faced during his short NFL career. Finally, Nacua is entering the final year of his rookie contract, and while I expect him to re-sign for record-breaking money, there is a slight chance he plays elsewhere. Nacua garners significant trade capital, often being traded for three first-round picks. I would prefer to acquire some first-round picks while tiering down slightly for a younger wide receiver such as Tet McMillan.

CeeDee Lamb | ADP 18.0 | Trade

Even with the addition of George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys offense, I still view CeeDee Lamb as a cornerstone piece for your dynasty rosters. But he still has outstanding trade value, often commanding three first-round picks. Lamb will be turning 27 in a few weeks, and that premium trade capital will start to diminish. There is a chance Pickens improves upon the production he has shown since Dallas traded for him.

Justin Jefferson | ADP 16.0 | Trade

Justin Jefferson no longer commands that first-round startup pick due to poor play at quarterback. Minnesota addressed its lack of competent quarterback play by signing Kyler Murray. However, Murray has recently failed to show his ability to connect with his top receivers, such as Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson. That may be due to the offensive scheme, as under Kliff Kingsbury, Murray developed a fantastic connection with DeAndre Hopkins, and I believe if anyone can “fix” Murray, it would be Kevin O’Connell. Ideally, I am keeping Jefferson, but for this article, he is one of my trade candidates, as he still holds elite wide receiver value; but another down season could drastically decrease his trade value.

George Pickens | ADP 34.0 | Trade

As I mentioned earlier, George Pickens has been a tremendous addition to the Dallas Cowboys offense. Pickens is coming off the best season of his career, but his ongoing franchise tag saga continues to be a situation to monitor throughout the offseason. Pickens expressed his displeasure over the tag and plans to hold out for a long-term deal. Due to all the uncertainty surrounding Pickens, he was the easiest name to choose to trade, as his trade value is still extremely high.

Wide Receivers to Cut

Malik Nabers in Keep Trade Cut Wide Receiver startup ADP

Malik Nabers | ADP 14.0 | Cut

Out of all the names on this list, Malik Nabers was the toughest decision to make. Nabers is a phenomenal young talent and would ultimately be an easy keep for me if I did not have some concerns about his recovery from a torn ACL and meniscus in his right knee. Reports have varied from Nabers being ready by training camp to also missing the start of the NFL season. New York is also a prime landing spot in the NFL Draft for one of the top rookie wide receivers. In startup drafts, I want immediate production from my early-round players. With Nabers’ current ADP as an early second-round pick, I cannot guarantee that at this time.

Drake London | ADP 21.0 | Cut

I am lower on Drake London than most in the industry. While I believe he is an amazing talent, I cannot justify using a second-round startup pick on a receiver who has produced only one 1,000-yard season since entering the league in 2022. London also faces some instability at the quarterback position. There are enough questions about Atlanta’s offense that I would feel most comfortable cutting Drake London from these 12 names at his current startup value.

Nico Collins | ADP 32.0 | Cut

Much like Drake London, I am lower on Nico Collins than the fantasy industry. When Nico Collins is on the field, he is an absolute playmaker. However, being on the field is the problem. Over the course of his 5-year NFL career, Collins has missed 19 games. In fact, Collins has never played a full 17-game season in his career. I prefer to have a little more stability out of my third round startup draft pick.

Chris Olave | ADP 36.0 | Cut

I understand the hesitation in putting Chris Olave on the “cut” list. Olave is coming off a career-high season with the New Orleans Saints, which ultimately makes him a sell-high candidate. Unfortunately, he doesn’t command the trade value of the four names on my list. Given Olave’s current ADP value as a third-round startup pick, I am not comfortable with his concussion history, which could hinder his long-term value. I view Olave as more of a WR2 for dynasty rosters and feel more comfortable drafting him in the fifth or sixth rounds of startups.
