Kansas has self-imposed a four-game suspension for head coach Bill Self and assistant Kurtis Townsend to begin this season, a person with direct knowledge of the decision confirmed to The Athletic on Wednesday. The suspension stems from the program’s 2017 NCAA case.
Self will miss the game vs. Duke on Nov. 15 as one of the four. Norm Roberts will serve as interim head coach.
Stadium’s Jeff Goodman first reported the news.
