And now we wait.
Soler exited the game after trying to beat out a ball hit back to the mound. For a team that has been absolutely crushed by injuries, there was a glimmer of health hope on Wednesday as Michael Harris returned to the lineup — and hit a grand slam — for the first time in two months from a hamstring strain of his own.
Now, Soler, who has mashed the baseball since being traded for a couple of a weeks ago, will likely miss at least a game or two before we know more. Jarred Kelenic replaced Soler in left field. With a day game on Thursday, it seems likely the outfield will consist of Kelenic, Harris and Ramon Laureano.
