Toronto Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet applauded Pascal Siakam for his ridiculous performance last night at Madison Square Garden vs. the New York Knicks (52 points/9 rebounds/7 assists/1 steal/17-25 FG/2-6 3-PT/16-18 FT during a 113-106 road win).

(via Jump View):

“I think that he’s a special player, and special players rise to the occasion in the biggest moments on stages like Madison Square Garden where there’s been so many historical performances. He just put his name in the books as one of those guys. It’s been a lot of fun to play alongside him and watch him when he’s got it going. He’s unbelievable and he carried us tonight on the offensive end of the floor. He’s just a guy that you give the ball to and get out of his way. They just didn’t have an answer for him, especially down the stretch.”
