Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been medically cleared to play, head coach Mike McCarthy announced Wednesday.
This marks the starter’s return after six weeks recovering from a thumb injury suffered in Week 1 that required surgery. Backup QB Cooper Rush had been taking snaps in the meantime, going 4-1 in the starter’s absence, but now Prescott is set to take his position back when the Cowboys face the Lions on Sunday.
Around the NFL will have more shortly.
