A wild scene occurred in Boulder, Colorado on Thursday evening. According to Boulder Police, the suspected perpetrator of a hit-and-run accident near Colorado’s campus fled the scene and drove his vehicle into Folsom Field.
Police posted on X to explain the situation saying in part that it was working with campus police to “arrest a hit and run driver who fled the scene of a crash … and entered the stadium.” They added the suspect is now in custody and no longer a threat.
Bystanders on campus were able to snap images of what appears to be the suspect, outside of his vehicle on the football field, presumably surrendering to authorities.
