On Thursday afternoon, it was announced that Carter Scruggs, a four-star offensive lineman from Leesburg, Virginia, committed to Clemson.
He chose Swinney and Clemson over the likes of Georgia, Michigan and Penn State, so this is no small deal for the Tigers.
