Winner: Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia
In his team’s upset 34-27 overtime win over Virginia Tech, Pavia did everything for the Commodores.
The New Mexico State transfer finished the game 12-of-16 for 190 yards and three total touchdowns (two passing, one running). He was sacked twice but still accounted for 116 rushing yards on 24 carries, including the go-ahead touchdown in overtime.
