As expected, the Atlanta Braves have reinstated left-hander A.J. Minter from the injured list. Minter will be available and in the bullpen Tuesday when the Braves begin a three-game series against the San Francisco Giants.
The #Braves today returned LHP A.J. Minter from his rehabilitation assignment and reinstated him from the injured list.

Minter appeared in 25 games and logged a 2.95 ERA and a 4.89 FIP over 21 1⁄3 innings before going on the injured list on May 30 due to inflammation in his hip. He made a rehab appearance for High A Rome on June 22 and then two more for Gwinnett. His last one came Sunday where he issued a walk while throwing a scoreless inning.
The Braves optioned Daysbel Hernandez to Gwinnett after Sunday’s loss to the Pirates to open up a spot on the active roster. Minter has been one of the best relievers in baseball for the last few seasons and is in his final year of team control. He will enter free agency for the first time in his career next offseason.
