Acuña has gotten off to a slow start offensively, but his loss will certainly be felt by the Braves. He’s appeared in 49 games and is hitting .250/.351/.365 with four home runs and a 109 wRC+ in 222 plate appearances. Acuña also leads the team with 16 stolen bases.
The Braves acquired Martinez in an offseason trade with the Texas Rangers. Martinez has appeared in 44 games at Gwinnett and is hitting .271/.344/.404 with three home runs, and a 95 wRC+. He’s got the ability to play all three spots in the outfield and brings some speed to the table.
