Following a solid homestand that saw the Atlanta Braves pick up a series win over the Phillies, the Braves are looking to keep those good vibes rolling out West as they start their road trip to the other side of the country with a matchup against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
In case you missed the news, the Braves are sending Bryce Elder to the bump instead of Chris Sale. Atlanta is clearly prioritizing rest for their rotational arms, which has led to Elder getting a chance to find what he had last season. Hopefully he does and also hopefully the Braves will give Yilber Diaz a rude welcome to MLB on his big league debut.
