Battery Power TV: Fresh off successful home stand, can Atlanta Braves maintain momentum on the road?

The Atlanta Braves flexed their collective muscle at Truist Park and finally showed some signs of emerging from their lengthy doldrums.

Austin Riley was among those to really get things going at the plate. His big home stand was a welcome sign for the Atlanta slugger. Meanwhile, Jarred Kelenic is the latest man installed at the top of the order as Michael Harris II went down with a hamstring strain that will sideline him for weeks. Can Kelenic make the most of this latest opportunity?

Behind the plate, the return of Sean Murphy was much anticipated, but some troubles at the plate were adding up. Murphy broke out in a big way with a four-hit, two-homer game on Wednesday, a performance which could signal big things are to come for the slugging catcher.

On the mound, one of the youngest Braves is making a big impression, a long-time minor leaguer finally got his shot in the big leagues, and a bullpen veteran is once again posting some incredible numbers. You’ll hear about Spencer Schwellenbach, Grant Holmes and Jesse Chavez as well.

Grant McAuley and Kris Willis discuss all of that and preview the three-city road trip which begins against the New York Yankees on this edition of BPTV.
