He suffered the injury during this week’s series in Minnesota. After being down for a couple of days, Urshela is hopeful for a return this weekend, during a pivotal series with the Philadelphia Phillies.
The 32-year-old was recently acquired by the Braves and has already appeared in eight games, each of them at third base. He’s put up a .290 average since joining the team on August 20.
Hopefully, it’s a quick return for Urshela, as the Braves have dealt with enough injury this season.
