Atlanta Braves roll with same lineup from Sunday in series opener in Boston

The lineups for tonight’s game between the Atlanta Braves and the Boston Red Sox are out. As you can probably guess from the title, there’s not going to be anything to talk about in terms of changes as far as the Braves are concerned as they’re sticking with the same look that they had for the final game of their three-game series against Oakland.

So yeah, here’s how the Braves look:

Again, the only change is that Max Fried is the starting pitcher. This is probably what we should expect to see from the Braves at full-strength when it comes to right-handed pitchers going forward. In lieu of any other news about Atlanta’s lineup, here’s a video of starting right fielder Adam Duvall knocking down a bunch of cups in the Chop House with a ball thrown from right field. Big leaguers are incredible, man.

On the other side of things, here’s how the Red Sox will be lining up for tonight’s game:

Jarren Duran is in his usual spot at the top of the order, Rafael Devers is batting cleanup like usual and Garrett Cooper is batting sixth but other than that, the Sox have shuffled around the rest of their lineup when compared to what they had for their series finale against the Tigers yesterday. After taking a glance at the Baseball Savant page for this game, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that if Fried is on his game once again then this might be a tough night for Boston.

Tonight’s game starts at 7:10 P.M. E.T. and can be seen on Bally Sports South and listened to on 680 The Fan/93.7 FM.
