The Atlanta Braves have one more series at Truist Park for the month of August and it comes in the form of a three-game set against the Washington Nationals. The Braves enter play with a 68-59 record and are six games out of the division lead. The Nats come to town at 58-70 and sit at fourth in the division.
Chris Sale, Charlie Morton, and Reynaldo López are penciled in to face MacKenzie Gore, Jake Irvin, and DJ Herz.
The series gets underway tonight at 7:20 ET and carries through Sunday afternoon.

The Los Angeles Dodgers designated Jason Heyward for assignment on Thursday. The club activated Chris Taylor to fill Heyward’s roster spot.
The Seattle Mariners have fired skipper Scott Servais. Dan Wilson will take over the managerial role. Servais has been with the M’s since 2016.
The Los Angeles Angels have agreed to an extension with general manager Perry Minasian. The deal will go through the 2026 season.
Philadelphia Phillies infielder Rodolfo Castro will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn ligament in his right thumb. Castro is on the 40-man roster but has not appeared in a game at the major league level this season.
