Well, the Braves avoided disaster in Boston, surviving two major injury scares with seemingly minimal impact. Sean Murphy looked like he might have been out for another long absence after just returning from his oblique injury, but appears to merely need a couple of days. Jarred Kelenic also appeared to severely injure his wrist Wednesday, but seems to be mostly fine. The series itself was middling, as Max Fried was once again brilliant and the offense looked lively Tuesday, followed by a less promising outing from Spencer Schwellenbach and a lifeless offensive performance. Overall, splitting a two game series and getting those relatively positive injury results is good enough for me to take from Fenway, but hopefully they can take this upcoming series against Washington.
