The Braves are back inside the bubble for the NL wild-card, at least sort of. They are now tied with the Mets for the last spot, after the Mets blew a big lead to the Phillies and the Braves won another against the Dodgers. They are both also only one game back of the Diamondbacks and 2.5 back of the Padres.
Chris Sale, for his part, have all-but locked up the NL Cy Young at this point (or at least should have, with the large caveat of voters making strange decisions), barring a combination of some horrific starts from him and some incredible starts from his closest-but-still-distant competition.
