Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Atlanta Braves fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
The Atlanta Braves have won five of their last six games and enter play Tuesday with a 25-13 record. If you are curious, that is an identical mark to last season when they won 25 of their first 38 games on their way to 104 wins. The difference is, Atlanta had a six-game lead in the NL East through 38 games last season. This season, they are looking up in the standings at the Philadelphia Phillies, who at 29-13, have a two-game advantage.
The Braves are winning at a high clip, but it has felt like they are in a much more precarious spot due to their struggling offense. Ronald Acuña Jr, Matt Olson and Austin Riley have all gotten off to slow starts at the plate. After leading the majors with 307 homers last season, Atlanta is tied for 14th this season with 41.
Our SB Nation Reacts survey for this week is born out of curiosity. Do you still consider the Braves to be the favorites in the NL East? Also, what area most concerns you about this Braves’ team.
Vote below and let us know what you think in the comments. We’ll check out the results later this week.
