Antonio Williams was a four-star prospect out of Dutch Fork High School. He was a three-sport athlete, also competing in track and basketball. Williams is familiar with winning, as his high school football team captured three state championships.
He committed to play his college football at Clemson in 2022 and got off to a fast start, leading the Tigers in receptions and receiving yards as a freshman. Unfortunately, his second season was cut short due to multiple lower-body injuries that limited him to just five games.
Williams would dominate in his junior season, leading the team in receptions, yards, and touchdowns as the Tigers had an accomplished year. He earned First-Team All-ACC honors for his excellent season. In 2025, injuries again affected Williams, as he suffered a hamstring injury in the season opener. He missed the next few games, which put a damper on the beginning of his senior year. Despite that, he rebounded and produced 50+ receiving yards in each of his final 7 games of the season.

Rookie Profile | Strengths and Weaknesses
Antonio Williams is a quick-footed receiver off the line of scrimmage. He should project as a strong YAC receiver at the NFL level, as we saw plenty of flashes on film of his ability after the catch. A big reason for that is the wiggle in his game, along with some of the best footwork in this class. He runs routes with deception and can catch defenders off guard with how smoothly he gets off the line. Williams also shows toughness despite being smaller and slimmer, making some difficult catches in traffic. He also brings a unique wrinkle that NFL teams will love, as he can be used on end-arounds and even throw the ball. Do not discount the possibility of him doing that as a rookie.
On the film side, Williams shows an initial quick burst, but his long speed looks more average on deeper routes. While he can be a menace as a route runner, he still needs to become more refined. If defenders get physical with him, he can be knocked off his route too easily. He also tends to not make sharp cuts at his break points, which will need to be coached up. Williams has dealt with injuries during his college career, and given his frame, that could remain a concern at the NFL level. For his upside, Williams compares to Diontae Johnson with better hands. His floor is closer to Jaylin Noel.

On the first play, Williams finds open space downfield and shows off his toughness by securing the catch as the defender closes in. He slips the defender’s tackle attempt and quickly turns upfield, finding an open lane for the touchdown. On the next two plays, you can see Williams’ quick footwork and route precision. He creates enough separation to win on a slant route and then shows his ability to break off a deep out route, giving the quarterback a clean throwing window. These reps highlight his short-area quickness and ability to separate at the top of his routes.

Williams is likely a Day 3 pick, projected to be selected in the 4th or 5th round. He brings an interesting skill set that several teams could utilize, including the Bengals, Dolphins, and Jets. While those landing spots may not be ideal for immediate fantasy value, each team has a need for a WR3 in its offense. Williams could be used in a variety of ways that help maximize his potential.
