Week 12 was one of our most efficient weeks of the year in a crucial bounce-back spot. We finished above 65% in every category for the third time this season. We had a 69.2% hit rate in Week 12, our best performance since Week 7. I appreciate you all rocking with me this season and dealing with the highs and lows that week-to-week IDP fantasy football brings. Let’s keep the momentum going and finish these last two weeks strong and set ourselves up for a dominant playoff run.

| Khalil Mack | Chargers | Raiders | 50% | ✅ |
| Arden Key | Titans | Jaguars | 55% | ✅ |
Khalil Mack | DL | Los Angeles Chargers
Who doesn’t love a good revenge game scenario to get us started in Week 13? It’s fair to say Khalil Mack already got his revenge on his former team after a six-sack performance against the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2023 season. However, you know the future Hall of Famer always has a little extra motivation to play against the team that drafted and traded him.
I love Khalil Mack this week against a Raiders offense that just surrendered 10 sacks last week. The Chargers veteran EDGE rusher is coming off double-digit fantasy points in four of his previous five games. Mack should put together another strong performance for fantasy managers in Week 13.
Arden Key | DL | Tennessee Titans
The lone bright spot of the Tennessee Titans’ pass rush has been Arden Key over the past month of the season. He was mentioned as a top add in the Week 12 Waiver Wire. He has not disappointed with 41 fantasy points over the last two games. Key has converted six pressures into 2.5 sacks since his return from injury in Week 11. The Jacksonville Jaguars present a favorable matchup for the DL position, allowing the 11th most sacks per game (2.6), and have allowed the third most tackles to the position (21.7) over the previous three games. I encourage IDP managers to keep riding the hot hand here and bank on his hot streak continuing.

| Germaine Pratt | Colts | Texans | 80% | ✅ |
| Cody Simon | Cardinals | Buccaneers | 56% | ✅ |
Germaine Pratt | LB | Indianapolis Colts
As an experienced fantasy manager, sometimes you get it wrong. The important thing is taking accountability and giving credit where it’s due. Germaine Pratt‘s release by the Raiders and signing with the Colts seemed like a move with minimal impact. The veteran LB has thrived once again with his former defensive coordinator, Lou Amaruno. Pratt has four consecutive games of 10 fantasy points or more, and has achieved that in 5 of his previous 6 games overall.
IDP managers have to take notice of the veteran LB, coming off a 20-tackle performance against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12. Pratt has cemented himself as a plug-and-play starter in this defense. Love him again this week with a great matchup against the Houston Texans, who allow the 9th-best tackle efficiency to opposing linebackers this season.
Cody Simon | LB | Arizona Cardinals
One player I felt was a significant value in 2025 rookie drafts was Arizona Cardinals LB Cody Simon. I mentioned him taking over a starting role before the end of the season in my IDP Trends article this offseason. The former Ohio State LB has not disappointed with a 14 fantasy points per game average since taking over a starting role in Week 10. Simon has proved himself to be a high-volume tackler with 25 stops over this three-game stretch.
Cody Simon had some rookie moments in the first half but he found his footing later in the game.
Really impressive play here to blow up a screen to CMC and prevent a TD. pic.twitter.com/xdSdtDQUSh
— Theo Mackie (@theo_mackie) November 18, 2025
We have seen this time and time again: a rookie making noise late in the season who can be a key piece in helping managers find success in their leagues. Simon is likely to keep this role to finish out the season and offers realistic long-term dynasty value even for non-competitive teams.
IDP Trivia | Which rookie linebacker has averaged 14 FFPG since taking over a starting role in Week 10 and has piled up 25 tackles over his last three games?
Week 13 Defensive Backs | IDP Start Sit
| Player | Team | Opponent | Snap% | Start |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grant Delpit | Browns | 49ers | 95% | ✅ |
| Jonas Sanker | Saints | Dolphins | 90% | ✅ |
Grant Delpit | DB | Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns defensive back Grant Delpit hasn’t lived up to expectations this season. He enters Week 13 as the DB53 and is averaging fewer than 12 FPPG, making him more of a replacement-level option than the difference-maker IDP managers hoped for. But this week sets up as his best matchup of the season. Delpit draws a San Francisco 49ers offense that allows the most tackles per game to safeties (16.6), and he should be heavily involved in slowing down their run-first approach. Delpit averages 22 box snaps per game, and Cleveland will need every bit of his presence to help contain Christian McCaffrey. If there’s ever a spot for Delpit to bounce back, Week 13 is it.
Jonas Sanker | DB | New Orleans Saints
Most savvy IDP managers can spot the trend this time of year, where rookies begin to find their place and become relied on more than they were earlier in the season. New Orleans rookie defensive back Jonas Sanker has performed above expectations this season. Since Week 4, the Saints DB has finished with double-digit fantasy points in 75% of his games. I love his matchup this week with the Miami Dolphins, who have surrendered 17.3 tackles per game to the DB position since Week 10. Sanker should find himself with the opportunity to turn in a big performance for fantasy managers this week.

| Arik Armstead | DT | Jaguars | Texans | ✅ |
| Brandon Dorlus | DT | Falcons | Jets | ✅ |
| Jaylen Watson | CB | Chiefs | Cowboys | ✅ |
| Jacob Parrish | CB | Buccaneers | Cardinals | ✅ |
Arik Armstead | DT | Jacksonville Jaguars
As many have noticed, veteran DT Arik Armstead is a player we have turned to on multiple occasions this season. He remains available in over 80% of leagues across IDP platforms. Armstead is the DT26 this season and has eclipsed 13 fantasy points in 50% of his games over the last month. Has a nice opportunity to get back in the sack column for the first time since Week 11 against the Titans’ offensive line, who lead the league in sacks allowed.
Brandon Dorlus | DT | Atlanta Falcons
It’s hard to ignore the production of DT Brandon Dorlus of the Atlanta Falcons. He is the 2nd-highest scoring DT since Week 8 with two games over 20 fantasy points. The New York Jets have allowed the 4th most sacks per game and offer a favorable matchup for opposing defensive linemen every week.

Jaylen Watson | CB | Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs’ secondary will have its work cut out for it in Week 13. They head to Dallas to stop the Cowboys’ winning streak in a primetime matchup on Thanksgiving. Jaylen Watson has been targeted 13 times over his previous 3 games. He will likely see extended work against CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, who can take over a game at any time. In CB-required formats, Jaylen Watson is a solid streaming option this week.
Jacob Parrish | CB | Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have quietly landed a real contributor in rookie cornerback Jacob Parrish. The Kansas State product has been one of the more under-the-radar breakout players this season, currently ranked CB11 overall. He’s heating up at the right time, stacking 29 fantasy points over his last two games. Now he walks into a great Week 13 spot against an Arizona Cardinals offense that has surrendered a league-high 19.3 tackles per game to opposing cornerbacks over the last three weeks.

| Laiatu Latu | DL | Colts | Texans | 🚫 |
| Cody Barton | LB | Titans | Jaguars | 🚫 |
| Jevon Holland | DB | Giants | Patriots | 🚫 |
Laiatu Latu | DL | Indianapolis Colts
There’s nothing I dislike more than fading one of “my guys.” Laiatu Latu was one of my favorite evaluations ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, and he’s lived up to the billing—developing into a high-end fantasy producer with a DL19 ranking and three games of 20+ fantasy points already under his belt. But as IDP managers know, tough calls come with the territory, and this week, Latu lands on the wrong side of the matchup data.
He failed to record a single tackle against Houston last season, and the Texans have quietly allowed the 7th-fewest tackles to defensive linemen this year. This shapes up as a classic boom-or-bust spot. If you have a comparable option with a safer floor, don’t hesitate to park the talented rookie on the bench for Week 13.
Cody Barton | LB | Tennessee Titans
The linebacker position continues to be where IDP managers feel the injury bug the hardest as we push toward the end of the regular season. In must-win matchups, getting the highest-floor, highest-impact players into your lineup is everything — but with so many backups and injury replacements stepping into bigger roles, the range of outcomes can be all over the place.
Cedric Gray with 109 tackles leads the Titans this season and it’s not close. The next highest is Cody Barton and he’s 49 tackles away with 60.
— Cory Curtis (@CoryCurtis2) November 25, 2025
Cody Barton has held steady as the Titans’ LB2, but the problem for fantasy purposes is simple: he just hasn’t produced enough. The veteran has posted 8 fantasy points or fewer in three of his last five games, offering neither upside nor stability when managers need it most. It’s never fun scrambling for answers at linebacker, but with a full slate of games in Week 13, you can — and should — find a better option if you’re fighting to stay alive in the playoff race.
Jevon Holland | DB | New York Giants
New York Giants defensive back Jevon Holland lands on the sit list this week. The former Oregon Duck has looked solid since returning from injury, stacking three straight double-digit fantasy performances. But zoom out, and the season as a whole has been a significant disappointment — Holland enters Week 13 as the DB100, far from what IDP managers expected when he joined New York.
This matchup doesn’t do him any favors, either. The New England Patriots are allowing the third-fewest tackles per game to safeties, making this one of the worst spots to trust an already inconsistent player. With playoff seeding hanging in the balance, IDP managers shouldn’t be taking unnecessary risks. Holland belongs on the bench this week.
Hidden IDP Gems | Week 13 Fantasy Football Start/Sit
• Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter feast on the Bills’ offensive line— bring their combined sack total to 21.5 on the season.
•Myles Garrett leads all players with 28.7 FPPG this season. One of the best IDP seasons in recent memory.
• Micah Parsons has 3.5 sacks over the previous two games and has now hit double-digit sacks in each of his first 5 seasons.
• Carson Schwesinger is the only Rookie IDP that is in the top 12 at his position.
• The Los Angeles Rams are the only team to have a player in the top 12 of every IDP position this season— Jared Verse, Byron Young, Nate Landman, and Kamren Curl.
• Tre’von Moehrig has more TFL this season than T.J. Watt, Aidan Hutchinson, and Nik Bonitto.

🧠 FAQ | Week 13 IDP Start Sit Fantasy Football
Q1: Who are the safest IDP starts for Week 13?
A: Some of the strongest starts this week include Khalil Mack, Germaine Pratt, Cody Simon, and Grant Delpit. Mack draws a Raiders offense that just surrendered 10 sacks, Pratt is coming off a 20-tackle explosion, Simon has been red hot since taking over as a starter, and Delpit gets his best matchup of the season against a 49ers offense feeding safeties tackles.
Q2: Which IDP players should managers avoid in Week 13?
A: The key fades this week are Laiatu Latu, Cody Barton, and Jevon Holland. Latu is stuck with one of the worst DL matchups on the slate, Barton hasn’t produced enough to trust in must-win weeks, and Holland draws a Patriots offense that gives safeties almost no volume.
Q3: Who are the best streamers for Week 13?
A: Strong streamers include Arik Armstead, Brandon Dorlus, Jaylen Watson, and Jacob Parrish. Armstead and Dorlus both walk into favorable sack matchups, while Watson and Parrish have high-volume coverage roles in games projected to feature heavy passing.
Q4: Which under-the-radar IDPs could break out this week?
A: Keep your eye on Arden Key and Jonas Sanker. Key has 41 fantasy points over the last two weeks and faces a Jaguars offensive line struggling in protection. Sanker has been a steady riser all season and gets a Dolphins team that allows massive tackle volume to defensive backs.
Q5: How should IDP managers approach Week 13 with no teams on bye?
A: With every team active, this is the week to prioritize ceiling. Don’t settle for low-upside “safe” plays—lean into players with favorable matchups, high snap shares, and proven impact-play upside. You want the best combination of volume and volatility as you fight for playoff seeding.
Q6: What trends are shaping the IDP landscape heading into the playoffs?
A: Rookies are surging across all levels — Cody Simon, Jonas Sanker, and Jacob Parrish are all trending upward at the right time. Meanwhile, veterans like Khalil Mack and Micah Parsons are heating up again, giving contending managers the late-season momentum they need.
Q7: What’s the best IDP strategy for the final two weeks before playoffs?
A: Stay proactive, not reactive. Look ahead to Weeks 14–15 matchups, stash emerging rookies before they become waiver darlings, and don’t hesitate to sit big-name players in bad matchups (like Latu this week). Making the tough calls now could be the difference between sneaking into the playoffs or missing the cut.
Trivia Answer | Cody Simon — The Cardinals’ rookie has stepped into a full-time role and immediately delivered high-volume production, quickly becoming a league-winner candidate for IDP managers. (click to return)
