Week 11 38.4% 33.3% 50% 33.3% Micah Parsons – DL7

After stacking two strong weeks in a row, Week 11 brought us back down to earth. We finished with a 38.4% hit rate, and a few of our calls didn’t land the way the matchup data suggested. The one major win came from Micah Parsons, who delivered a much-needed DL7 performance and kept us from taking a complete loss at the position. The good news? There’s still time to tighten things up. With a few weeks left before the fantasy playoffs, we have plenty of runway to correct course and help you make that final push in the standings.

Players to Start | Week 12 IDP Fantasy Football

Defensive Line | Week 12 IDP Start Sit

Player Team Opponent Snap% Start
Nic Scourton Panthers 49ers 65%
Mike Green Ravens Jets 65%

Nic Scourton | DL | Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers have found a gem in Nic Scourton, a second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Texas A&M product has been steadily improving over the last month of the season, playing over 70% of the defensive snaps for the third week in a row. Over the previous five games, Scourton is the DL10 overall. IDP managers who have been patient with the rookie EDGE rusher have been reaping the rewards lately, and his potential is a reason for optimism in the final stretch of the regular season.

Nic Scourton draws a good matchup in Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers, who have surrendered the second-most tackles (198) to the DL position this season. He has 19 tackles and 1.5 sacks over the last month of the season. This matchup is crucial, and we’re leaning on the rookie pass rusher to extend his double-digit fantasy point streak to six games. It’s a game that could significantly impact your fantasy standings, so stay engaged and focused.

Mike Green | DL | Baltimore Ravens

We look to another rookie who has been improving his play recently. Mike Green of the Baltimore Ravens has emerged as a weapon for their improving defense. Green has been more sack-dependent than I would like to see, but he has collected 1.5 sacks over the last four games.  Despite being the DL116 on the season, he has a great matchup this week against the New York Jets, who have surrendered 3.6 sacks per game this season. The rookie led all Baltimore EDGE defenders in snap share in Week 11, and he will be a big part of the defensive success down the final stretch of the season. His potential should give you confidence in starting him this week.

Linebackers | IDP Week 12 Start Sit

Player Team Opponent Snap% Start
Devin Lloyd Jaguars Cardinals 71%
Nakobe Dean Eagles Cowboys 60%

Devin Lloyd | LB | Jacksonville Jaguars

From Week 2 to Week 4, Devin Lloyd was looking to have one of his best seasons with 4 interceptions, a fumble recovery, and a defensive touchdown. However, an early-season injury forced him out of action for nearly a month. Lloyd returned in Week 10 with a solid performance. He’s collected 5 tackles or more in 50% of his starts this season. The Arizona Cardinals are a favorable matchup for opposing linebackers this season, allowing the sixth-most tackles per game. Lloyd should have an opportunity to produce a high-volume tackling game, and with his skill set, an impact play could boost him into the high-end LB2 conversation this week.

Nakobe Dean | LB | Philadelphia Eagles

The return of linebacker Nakobe Dean has significantly impacted the value of Eagles rookie LB Jihaad Campbell. Since Dean’s return in Week 7, Campbell has failed to record 10 fantasy points in any single game. On the flipside, the former Georgia Bulldog linebacker has been consistent with four consecutive double-digit performances, including finishing as the LB5 overall in Week 10.

The Dallas Cowboys have allowed 18 tackles per game over their last three game, and that bodes well for Nakobe Dean and the Philadelphia linebackers. Dean will be looking to have a big game in his second start against the division rival Cowboys. Last season, he recorded 6 tackles in his lone start against them. IDP managers can start Dean with confidence in this matchup.

Week 12 Defensive Backs | IDP Start Sit

Player Team Opponent Snap% Start
Amani Hooker Titans Seahawks 88%
Kamren Kinchens Rams Buccaneers 72%

Amani Hooker | DB | Tennessee Titans

I highlighted veteran defensive back Amani Hooker as a late-season trade candidate in the Week 12 Waiver Wire. The Titans’ DB has been remarkably consistent this season, and he’s one of the most underrated defensive backs in IDP fantasy football. It’s easy to overlook him because the Titans are one of the NFL’s worst rosters. Hooker has only failed to record 4 tackles in just one game this season; over his previous three games, he’s averaging 7 tackles per game. The Tennessee defense should be looking at a heavy workload against the high-powered Seattle Seahawks offense.

Kamren Kinchens | DB | Los Angeles Rams

I’ve got to show some love to one of my former Miami Hurricanes. Kamren Kinchens is stepping into a prime opportunity to take over the starting safety role next to Kamren Curl after Quentin Lake went down in Week 11. Kinchens made the most of his extended snaps, snagging two interceptions last week and reminding everyone of the playmaker he was at “The U.”

As a rookie, he was very impact-play dependent — six impact plays in just four starts — and that trend has carried over with four impact plays in his last three games. Now that he’s stepping into a full-time role, I’m excited to see how his production stabilizes with starter-level usage. The Rams defense is going to have its hands full against Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers offense in a likely Sunday Night Football shootout in Week 12, and Kinchens should have plenty of opportunities to make his mark.

Top IDPs to Stream in Week 12 | Start/Sit Fantasy Football Advice

Player Pos Team Opponent Stream
Colby Wooden DT Packers Vikings
Mason Graham DT Browns Raiders
Renardo Green CB 49ers Panthers
Emmanuel Forbes CB Rams Buccaneers

Colby Wooden | DT | Green Bay Packers

Colby Wooden is available in 95% of leagues and is coming off back-to-back double-digit fantasy performances. He’s benefitting greatly from the Micah Parsons effect this season. It’s rare to have a DT with consistent tackle production like Wooden. He’s recorded 3 tackles or more in 6 of his 10 games this season.

Mason Graham | DT | Cleveland Browns

Week 12 is rookie defensive lineman week, I promise it just worked out that way. Mason Graham hasn’t made the impact from a fantasy perspective that fantasy managers had hoped this season. I do love his chances to be a respectable streaming option in Week 12. The Las Vegas Raiders have surrendered 4 sacks per game over their previous 3 games and will have their hands full trying to slow down the NFL’s sack leader, Myles Garrett. I’m liking the odds of the rookie to notch his first full sack of the season in this one.

Renardo Green | CB | San Francisco 49ers

The Carolina Panthers are one of four teams that have allowed at least 140 tackles to the cornerback position this season. Renardo Green has been a sneaky value over the last month with four consecutive double-digit performances. Green has a 90% defensive snap share this season and should remain a value in CB-required formats.

Emmanuel Forbes | CB | Los Angeles Rams

Emmanuel Forbes has quietly started to turn a corner, posting double-digit fantasy points in two of his last three games. I like him as a strong bye-week streaming option in Week 12, especially with Baker Mayfield likely to challenge the Los Angeles Rams’ secondary early and often. Over his last three outings, Forbes has stacked 9 tackles, 5 passes defended, and 2 interceptions — precisely the kind of production you want to chase in CB-required formats. IDP managers could do much worse than rolling out Forbes this week.

Players to Sit | Week 12 IDP Start/Sit

Player Pos Team Opponent Recommendation
Carl Granderson DL Saints Falcons 🚫
Kenneth Murray LB Cowboys Eagles 🚫
Xavier Watts DB Falcons Saints 🚫
Carl Granderson | DL | New Orleans Saints

Full disclosure, anytime I bet against Carl Granderson having a big week, no matter what the data says, he proves me wrong. Despite our history, I just can’t ignore the embarrassing slump the New Orleans Saints’ EDGE rusher is in. Granderson has not recorded more than nine fantasy points in a game since Week 5. The veteran pass rusher started the season strongly with 71 fantasy points in his first two games; those two performances make up 49% of his season total.

IDP managers are in a tough spot with Granderson, and it’s unlikely you have the depth to sit him each week. His upside and weekly projections will lean you towards thinking this is his breakout week. To make matters worse, he has struggled against the Atlanta Falcons, finishing with just nine total fantasy points in two matchups against them last season.

Kenneth Murray | LB | Dallas Cowboys

I made mention back in Week 6 of my concern for Kenneth Murray’s dynasty value. The Cowboys have started rotating at the LB position, and in Week 11, he lost his full-time role. Dallas will be a frustrating situation for fantasy managers trying to find value at the LB position. Kenneth Murray shouldn’t be viewed as a starting option for managers competing for a playoff spot. His 43.3% defensive snap share was his lowest of the season, and that trend is likely to continue with Logan Wilson, DeMarvion Overshown, and rookie Shemar James all competing for snaps.

Xavier Watts | DB | Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons have been a colossal disappointment this season. One of their bright spots has been rookie safety Xavier Watts, who is currently the DB33 this season. He started off his career with six consecutive games of at least 10 fantasy points, but since that time, he has only achieved that mark once. Week 12 doesn’t give IDP managers much confidence with an unfavorable matchup against the New Orleans Saints offense, which has surrendered the fifth-fewest tackles per game to the safety position. Watts is likely going to need an impact play in Week 12; managers should avoid the rookie DB if their roster allows it.

Hidden IDP Gems | Week 12 Fantasy Football Start/Sit

Jordyn Brooks’ dominant season continues— 8 games of 20 FP and 3 games of 30 FP.

Myles Garrett and Brian Burns have been borderline unfair this season, combining for 28 sacks and 39 TFL. They are the only two players averaging more than one sack per game.

Ronnie Harrison offers sneaky late-season value. Has 55 FP over the last two weeks after moving into the LB2 role for the Falcons.

Jaelan Phillips has returned to form— Three consecutive 20-point games, the DL 5 overall during that stretch.

Cole Bishop and Tykee Smith have been elite this season — Only DBs in the Top 12 to score double-digit FP in every game.

Blake Cashman has delivered since his return from injury. The LB2 overall since Week 8.

🧠 FAQ | Week 12 IDP Start Sit Fantasy Football

Q1: Who are the strongest IDP start recommendations for Week 12?

A: Top Week 12 starts include Nic Scourton (DL, Panthers), Devin Lloyd (LB, Jaguars), and Amani Hooker (DB, Titans). Scourton has been a top-10 DL over the last month, Lloyd draws a high-volume tackle matchup against Arizona, and Hooker remains one of the most consistent DBs in fantasy with a stable tackle floor.

Q2: Which IDP players should fantasy managers avoid in Week 12?
A: Recommended sits include Carl Granderson (DL, Saints), Kenneth Murray (LB, Cowboys), and Xavier Watts (DB, Falcons). Granderson is in a massive slump, Murray has lost his full-time role, and Watts draws one of the toughest safety matchups of the week.

Q3: Who are the best IDP streamers for Week 12?
A: Strong streaming options include Colby Wooden (DT, Packers), Mason Graham (DT, Browns), Renardo Green (CB, 49ers), and Emmanuel Forbes (CB, Rams). Each has a matchup that boosts volume or sack potential, making them ideal bye-week fill-ins.

Q4: Which under-the-radar IDPs could break out this week?
A: Keep an eye on Mike Green (DL, Ravens) and Kamren Kinchens (DB, Rams). Green is trending up in snap share and gets a Jets offense that allows 3.6 sacks per game. Kinchens moves into a starting role and has four impact plays in his last three games.

Q5: How should fantasy managers navigate Week 12 with four teams on the bye?
A: Prioritize stable snap share, favorable tackle matchups, and avoid players relying solely on splash plays. With top producers like Jordyn Brooks and Bobby Wagner sidelined, managers must focus on role, usage, and matchup over name value.

Q6: What trends are shaping the IDP landscape heading into Week 12?
A: Rookie defenders continue to surge — Nic Scourton, Mike Green, and Mason Graham are all seeing expanded roles. Meanwhile, linebacker volatility remains high with injuries and rotations impacting weekly consistency.

Q7: What’s the best strategy for gaining an edge as the fantasy playoffs approach?
A: Look ahead. Target defenders with favorable tackle or pass-rush matchups in Weeks 15–17, stash emerging rookies before they break out, and tighten roster construction by cutting low-upside bench players. Staying proactive is the key to securing a playoff spot.
