Weekly IDP accuracy metrics for Dynasty Nerds Start/Sit recommendations, Weeks 1–10 of the 2025 fantasy football season.
We had another strong week, with a hit rate over 60% for the third time in the last four weeks. We also turned in a start hit rate of over 80% for the fourth time this season. It’s important to me that the recommended starts are hitting at the most consistent rate, which has been the case for most of the season. Philadelphia Eagles LB Nakobe Dean was our highlighted player in Week 11 with an LB5 performance overall. Our season start hit rate is 67%, and we look to keep it rolling as the fantasy football playoffs are right around the corner.

Players to Start | Week 11 IDP Fantasy Football
Defensive Line | Week 11 IDP Start Sit
| Player | Team | Opponent | Snap% | Start |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Micah Parsons | Packers | Giants | 75% | ✅ |
| Bryce Huff | 49ers | Cardinals | 53% | ✅ |
Micah Parsons | DL | Green Bay Packers
I will admit I didn’t have Micah Parsons being featured in this article on my bingo card for 2025. However, the star EDGE rusher has been highly inconsistent this season, ranking 57th among DLs in fantasy points per game. Despite his 6.5 sacks this season, Parsons is on pace to finish with under 50 total tackles for his third consecutive season. The lack of tackle production is hurting fantasy managers who are starting him regardless of the matchup.
Micah Parsons has been a boom or bust DL this season, with his best performance coming in Week 7. That performance of 43.8 fantasy points accounts for 36.9% of his total production this season. I love Week 11 to be another boom week for him with the New York Giants, who have allowed 3.1 sacks per game this season. Parsons is very familiar with the Giants offensive line; he collected 5 tackles and 1.5 sacks in two matchups against them last season.
Bryce Huff | DL | San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers have been dealing with injuries all season long. They will get their top sack getter back in pass rusher Bryce Huff in a favorable matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Huff played in Week 10 but played less than 50% of the snaps. He should be a full go against the Cardinals, who are one of three teams to allow over 180 tackles to the DL position this season. The Arizona offense is allowing a league-leading 5.3 sacks per game over the last 3 games. IDP managers who have Bryce Huff on their rosters should be treating this as a must-start in Week 11.
Linebackers | IDP Week 11 Start Sit
| Player | Team | Opponent | Snap% | Start |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Teddye Buchanan | Ravens | Browns | 74% | ✅ |
| Dre Greenlaw | Broncos | Chiefs | 40% | ✅ |
Teddye Buchanan | LB | Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens are starting to turn it around and look poised to make some noise and get into the NFL playoffs. A big reason why is the play of their rookies on defense, most notably Teddye Buchanan, who has been excellent this season. The 2024 4th Round pick has recorded 6 tackles or more in all but one game this season, including a 15-tackle performance in Week 5.

Teddye Buchanan is the LB2 in Baltimore next to Roquan Smith, but he’s still been highly productive, ranking as the LB31 this season. He will face the Cleveland Browns for the second time in his young career after recording 6 tackles in the first meeting. The Cleveland offense has surrendered 18.6 tackles per game to linebackers this season, the third most in the NFL. I love this matchup for Teddye Buchanan this week, and he should be a lock for double-digit fantasy points.
Dre Greenlaw | LB | Denver Broncos
In the Week 11 Waiver Wire article this week, I highlighted Broncos’ linebacker Dre Greenlaw as a trade candidate for contending teams. Unfortunately, it comes at the expense of LB Alex Singleton, who ranks fifth in the NFL in tackles. Singleton will miss time after emergency surgery, which will move Greenlaw to the LB1 role on the Denver defense. The veteran LB is coming off back-to-back games of 15 fantasy points. The Kansas City Chiefs have been favorable to opposing linebackers as of late, allowing 20.3 tackles per game. Dre Greenlaw should see a significant boost in fantasy value in the short term for IDP managers.
Question:
Which rookie linebacker has recorded at least six tackles in every game but one this season, and ranks as the LB31 overall?
Week 11 Defensive Backs | IDP Start Sit
| Player | Team | Opponent | Snap% | Start |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jalen Thompson | Cardinals | 49ers | 98% | ✅ |
| Josh Metellus | Vikings | Bears | 98% | ✅ |
Jalen Thompson | DB | Arizona Cardinals
Fantasy managers did not expect to find Jalen Thompson leading the Arizona Cardinals’ defensive backs in fantasy points at this point in the season. The veteran DB has scored double-digit fantasy points in 88.8% of his games this season. The San Francisco 49ers have been a fantasy goldmine for DBs; they are the only team to allow 160 tackles to the position this season. Thompson had 6 tackles in the first matchup in Week 3; he averaged 7 tackles per game against them in 2024. The data backs a strong start for the Cardinals DB this week, and I anticipate that he has a chance to have one of his better games of the 2025 season.

Josh Metellus | DB | Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota Vikings hybrid defensive back Josh Metellus has been featured multiple times in this season’s start recommendations. His play as of late has been concerning, as he has failed to record 10 fantasy points in a game since Week 8. I like the chances of that turning around this week against the Chicago Bears. Metellus had a 6-tackle game against Chicago earlier this season and has averaged 8 tackles per game over the last 5 games against them. The Bears allowed 13 tackles to starting safeties in Week 10. Metellus led the Vikings DBs in box snaps (48.6) last week, and his usage continues to justify having him in your lineup.
Top IDPs to Stream in Week 11 | Start/Sit Fantasy Football Advice
| Player | Pos | Team | Opponent | Stream |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gervon Dexter | DT | Bears | Vikings | ✅ |
| Deone Walker | DT | Bills | Buccaneers | ✅ |
| Kyu Blu Kelly | CB | Raiders | Cowboys | ✅ |
| Jarrian Jones | CB | Jaguars | Chargers | ✅ |
Gervon Dexter | DT | Chicago Bears
The Minnesota Vikings have struggled to keep their quarterbacks clean in the pocket this season. The team has allowed three sacks per game at home and has allowed opposing pass rushers to wreck their offensive game plans. Gervon Dexter is a strong streaming option this week, coming off his fourth double-digit fantasy performance of the season. He recorded a sack in the first matchup with Minnesota this season and should find similar success in Week 11.
Deone Walker | DT | Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills rookie DT Deone Walker will make our streaming list for the second time since Week 9. He was unable to get it done for us in that game, but we went back to him as a streaming option in DT-required formats this week. Walker has been forced into action much earlier than expected with the number of injuries on the interior of the Bills’ defense. Walker has a 50% defensive snap share this season. His best games this season have come against the NFC South division; he’s collected 10 tackles and one-half sack in three games this season. Let’s bank on the Buffalo rookie to continue his success against NFC teams and get us a big performance against Tampa Bay.
Kyu Blu Kelly | CB | Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders’ secondary has its hands full in Week 11 with an explosive Dallas Cowboys passing game coming to town. Kyu Blu Kelly is a solid streaming option in this one; he’s coming off a two-interception game in Week 10. While we can’t bank on interceptions, we can expect to see a high-volume tackling game from Kelly as he attempts to slow down CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens in this game.
Jarrian Jones | CB | Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones has been highly productive over the last two weeks, filling in for injured DB Jourdan Lewis. Jones has scored 20 fantasy points in each of the previous two weeks and is the CB2 overall over that span. Jourdan Lewis has yet to return to practice; expectations should be that Jones should find himself in a starting position again in Week 11. The Los Angeles Chargers are one of eight teams to allow 120 tackles or more to cornerbacks this season. Fantasy managers can pick up Jones off waivers now and start him in CB-required leagues.

Players to Sit | Week 11 IDP Start/Sit
| Player | Pos | Team | Opponent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Donovan Ezeiruaku | DL | Cowboys | Raiders |
| Tyrice Knight | LB | Seahawks | Rams |
| Dax Hill | DB | Bengals | Steelers |
Donovan Ezeiruaku | DL | Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys rookie pass rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku has been getting better and better as the season progresses. He ranks as PFF’s 20th-best EDGE defender this season as the team is desperate to replace Micah Parsons. He has recorded both of his sacks this season over the last three games, and IDP managers should be excited about his long-term value.
However, Ezeiruaku’s not in the best situation this week against the Las Vegas Raiders, who have allowed just 10.3 tackles per game to the position over the last three games. The Raiders have been much better at home in pass protection this season, allowing just 1.8 sacks per game, which ranks ninth in the NFL. There will be many better matchups for Ezeiruaku this season. IDP managers should look elsewhere for production.
Tyrice Knight | LB | Seattle Seahawks
Savvy fantasy managers who took advantage of Seattle Seahawks LB Ernest Jones’ missing Week 10 were in luck. Second-year LB Tyrice Knight had a career game with a 39-point breakout performance, allowing him to finish as the LB1 overall. Knight had 8 tackles, 2 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles in a blowout win against the Arizona Cardinals.
Those savvy managers will need to adjust, as it appears Ernest Jones has already been quoted as saying he will return for a huge divisional matchup with his former team, the Los Angeles Rams, this week. Tyrice Knight lost his LB2 role to Drake Thomas earlier this season and will likely head back to the bench in Week 11. In the event Jones has a setback towards the end of the week, it’s worth noting the Rams have allowed the third fewest tackles to the LB position this season.
Dax Hill | DB | Cincinnati Bengals
IDP managers have gained a significant advantage this season with Cincinnati Bengals DB Dax Hill, especially in CB-required formats where he has that designation. Hill is the DB27 and the CB8 in FPPG this season. As good as he has been, he’s had three games this season under 10 fantasy points.
Unfortunately, the last time that happened was Week 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who he will face again this week. The data points to a fade for Dax Hill this week. Pittsburgh allows the 5th-fewest tackles to the safety position, and the 2nd-fewest tackles per game to the CB position this season.
Hidden IDP Gems | Week 11 Fantasy Football Start/Sit
• Tykee Smith leads all DBs in FPPG with 20— Has scored 14 FP in every game this season.
• The Denver Broncos DL stack is fantasy gold — Nik Bonitto, Jonathan Cooper, and Zach Allen have combined for 23 sacks this season.
• 20 players have scored 200 FP this season — Brian Burns, Myles Garrett, Byron Young, and Jordyn Brooks are the only IDPs to do so.
• Rookie EDGE rushers making an impact — Over the last month, Jalon Walker is DL17 and Nic Scourton is DL18.
• Jordyn Brooks and Bobby Wagner are the only two LBs with 90 tackles or more and 2 sacks.
• Josh Sweat is DL17 this season. He is 5th in sacks, but has just 10 tackles this season that haven’t resulted in a sack. The ultimate sack-dependent IDP in 2025.

🧠 FAQ | Week 11 IDP Start Sit Fantasy Football
Q1: Who are the top IDP starts for Week 11?
The strongest Week 11 IDP starts include Micah Parsons (DL, Packers), Teddye Buchanan (LB, Ravens), and Jalen Thompson (DB, Cardinals). Parsons draws a premium pass-rush matchup against a New York Giants offense allowing 3.1 sacks per game, Buchanan continues to deliver elite tackle production in a matchup where Cleveland allows 18.6 tackles per game to linebackers, and Thompson faces a 49ers team that has surrendered 160 tackles to DBs — the most in the NFL.
Q2: Which IDP players should fantasy managers avoid in Week 11?
Recommended sits this week are Donovan Ezeiruaku (DL, Cowboys), Tyrice Knight (LB, Seahawks), and Dax Hill (DB, Bengals). Ezeiruaku faces a Raiders offense that allows only 10.3 tackles per game to DLs, Knight is expected to lose his starting role with Ernest Jones returning, and Hill faces a Pittsburgh offense that ranks bottom-five in tackle opportunities for opposing DBs.
Q3: Who are the best IDP streamers for Week 11?
The top Week 11 streamers include Gervon Dexter (DT, Bears), Deone Walker (DT, Bills), Kyu Blu Kelly (CB, Raiders), and Jarrian Jones (CB, Jaguars). Each player benefits from a high-volume matchup: Dexter faces a Vikings team allowing 3 sacks per game at home, Walker has produced his best games against NFC teams, Kelly is set for heavy target volume against Dallas, and Jones enters with back-to-back 20-point performances and a matchup against a Chargers offense allowing heavy cornerback tackle volume.
Q4: Which under-the-radar IDPs could break out in Week 11?
Bryce Huff (DL, 49ers) and Dre Greenlaw (LB, Broncos) have strong breakout potential. Huff returns to a top-tier matchup against an Arizona offense giving up 5.3 sacks per game over the last three weeks, while Greenlaw steps into the LB1 role for Denver following Alex Singleton’s injury and has delivered consecutive 15-point performances.
Q5: How should fantasy managers approach lineup decisions with only two teams on bye in Week 11?
Focus on matchups and volume over name value. Identify defenders with full-time roles and avoid players who rely solely on splash plays unless the matchup is overwhelmingly positive. This lighter bye week can trap managers into assuming their rosters are safe — but maximizing every defensive spot is still essential as playoff seeds tighten.
Q6: What are the key IDP trends heading into Week 11?
Rookie production continues to stand out across all levels, with players like Teddye Buchanan, Deone Walker, and Nic Scourton emerging as weekly starters. Defensive line remains the most volatile position, while linebacker usage continues to shift due to injuries. DB scoring has stabilized, with several hybrid safeties — like Josh Metellus and Jalen Thompson — maintaining high tackle floors thanks to consistent box usage.
Q7: What’s the best Week 11 strategy for gaining an edge heading into the fantasy playoffs?
Prioritize forward-looking matchups and tighten your bench to maximize depth. Stash emerging players with rising snap shares, target high-volume tackle matchups for Weeks 12–14, and monitor injury reports closely. The managers who stay proactive and not reactive typically secure the final playoff spots and enter the postseason with momentum.
Trivia Answer | Teddye Buchanan (Baltimore Ravens) — The 4th Round rookie continues to be one of the most reliable tackle producers in IDP formats. Playing alongside Roquan Smith hasn’t slowed him down; Buchanan has delivered steady production with six or more tackles in 8 of 9 games this season. (click to return)
