Hey Nerds! After an exciting start to the season, some players’ fantasy stock is on the rise due to increased performance, injury opportunities, or recent retirements. Meanwhile, others’ have fallen due to poor performance, injuries, or recent trades. In this Week 2 fantasy football trade advice, we dive into some dynasty recommendations for the top player targets heading into Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season.
Player | Position | Team | Trade Advice | Notes |
---|---|---|---|---|
Zach Charbonnet | RB | Seattle Seahawks | Trade For | Split carries with Kenneth Walker, efficient back. Consider 2026 2nd-round pick or higher for contenders. |
Zay Flowers | WR | Baltimore Ravens | Trade For | Week 1: 7/143/1. Buy-low potential depends on manager’s team. Mid-to-late 2026 1st could acquire him. |
George Kittle | TE | San Francisco 49ers | Trade For | Hamstring injury, buy for contenders needing TE, monitor health. |
Cam Ward | QB | Tennessee Titans | Trade For | Struggled vs Broncos. Target panicking managers with veteran QBs + future picks. |
Kayshon Boutee | WR | New England Patriots | Trade Away | Week 1: 103 yards, 6 receptions. Sell-high to target younger prospects. |
James Conner | RB | Arizona Cardinals | Trade Away | Inefficient Week 1; trade for second-round pick while value still holds. |
Daniel Jones | QB | Indianapolis Colts | Trade Away | QB3 entering Week 2; package with younger asset before tougher matchup. |
Travis Kelce | TE | Kansas City Chiefs | Trade Away | Limited Week 1 production; contenders can trade for Hunter Henry + assets. |
Deebo Samuel Sr. | WR | Washington Commanders | Trade Away | High value Week 1. Rebuilding teams can trade him + 2026 1st for younger asset. |
Kenneth Walker III | RB | Seattle Seahawks | Trade Away | Split touches with Charbonnet. Target managers still invested for 2026 1st. |
Players to Trade For | Week 2 Fantasy Football
Zach Charbonnet Fantasy Trade Value | Week 2
During the offseason, the Seattle coaching staff praised Zach Charbonnet. Head coach Mike MacDonald said, “Zach, he’s just a stud. He just does it every day. Same person, great spirit, strong as an ox, does everything right. I mean, what do you want from a football player? Zach Charbonnet.” In Week 1, Charbonnet showed exactly what MacDonald was saying as he split carries with Kenneth Walker, finding the endzone, and proved to be the more efficient running back. You must act fast with Charbonnet; I would start my negotiations off with a 2026 2nd-round pick but would be perfectly fine trading a 2026 1st if I was a contender.
Zay Flowers Dynasty Trade Target | Week 2
On the #NerdHerd Podcast, Rich and Garret debated on their ranking of Zay Flowers. Rich viewed Flowers as more of a WR3, while Garret viewed Flowers as more of a WR2. Rich discussed that he was able to acquire Flowers for the 2.01 in one of his dynasty leagues. After an impressive 7/143/1 stat line against Buffalo in Week 1, I no longer think that price is obtainable. However, I tend to lean closer to Garret’s view of Flowers and would have no issues with giving up a 2026 mid-to-late 1st, depending on my team structure.
George Kittle Buy-Low Trade Advice | Week 2

In the first half against Seattle, George Kittle looked to be a main part of the 49ers’ passing attack, catching 4 passes for 25 yards and a touchdown. Unfortunately, Kittle suffered a hamstring injury which will cause him to miss a few weeks according to Adam Schefter. It is possible that the Kittle owner is fed up with the constant injuries Kittle has sustained throughout his career and may be looking to trade him away. This move is for contenders only needing a tight end that are tired of playing fantasy wheel of fortune at the position.
Cam Ward Dynasty Trade Target | Week 2
Do not panic if you are a Cam Ward manager after a disappointing Week 1. Ward faced a very tough Denver Broncos defense at Mile High Stadium. That is a challenging environment for any quarterback, especially a rookie. Better days are ahead for Ward. Check the panic level of the Ward manager and capitalize if they are worried about the signal caller’s future. Try packaging an older veteran quarterback, such as Aaron Rodgers, Geno Smith, or Matthew Stafford and a future second rounder to start off negotiations.
Players to Trade Away | Week 2 Fantasy Football
Kayshon Boutte Sell-High Dynasty Advice | Week 2
Many fantasy owners were wondering which pass catcher on the New England Patriots to roster. Not many had Kayshon Boutte at the top of that list. In Week 1, Boutee led the team in receiving yards (103) and tied for the team lead in receptions (6). New England’s formula for winning games will not revolve around having 46 pass attempts. Moving forward, I see Boutee still competing behind Hunter Henry and Stefon Diggs in the pecking order for targets. You can use this opportunity to trade away Boutee for a younger prospect who did not have a strong Week 1, such as teammate Kyle Williams.
James Conner Fantasy Trade Value | Week 2

The clock is ticking on your trade window to trade away James Conner. While he is still the lead back in the Cardinals’ offense, Trey Benson is knocking at the door. Eventually, Benson will be kicking the door down. Conner finished Week 1 with an inefficient stat line of 12 carries for 39 rushing yards. Conner contributed in the receiving game, where he recorded four receptions and found the endzone. While a 1st round pick is out of the question for Conner, a 2nd round pick is not unreasonable by any means.
Daniel Jones Dynasty Trade Strategy | Week 2
Don’t look now, but Daniel Jones is currently the QB3 going into Week 2. Jones completed 22-of-29 pass attempts for 272 yards and one touchdown while also rushing seven times for 26 yards and two touchdowns in the Colts’ win over the Dolphins. Now is the time to trade Jones before his Week 2 matchup against the Denver Broncos. I would package Jones with a player for a younger asset. I love these trades below as potential options.

Travis Kelce Fantasy Trade Outlook | Week 2
In a game where the Chiefs were without Rashee Rice or Xavier Worthy, Travis Kelce was held to just 2 receptions for 47 yards. A chunk of those yards was on a 37-yard touchdown reception. At 35 years old, if you haven’t unloaded Kelce from your roster, your window is closing rapidly. Approach the Hunter Henry manager and see if you can obtain Henry plus something in return for Kelce.
Deebo Samuel Dynasty Trade Advice | Week 2

Deebo Samuel made a splash in his debut with the Washington Commanders. Samuel finished with 7 receptions for 77 receiving yards on 10 targets. He also rushed for a 19-yard touchdown. Potentially, this could be the best game of the season for Samuel, but his value is at its highest it has been in quite a while. If you are a rebuilding team, consider moving your 2026 1st-round pick and Samuel for Emeka Egbuka. At the very least, it will open up trade conversations and possibly other scenarios to acquire Egbuka.
Kenneth Walker Fantasy Football Trade Value | Week 2
Kenneth Walker has had quite the offseason with the Seattle Seahawks. Walker spent most of the offseason recovering from a lingering injury, which allowed more reps for Zach Charbonnet. In Week 1, Charbonnet and Walker had a near-even split of touches. Charbonnet has shown to be the more efficient back, and moving forward, has carved out a bigger role in the offense. Some recent trades in the Dynasty GM have included Kenneth Walker for a 2026 1st-round pick and additional compensation. Find the owner who still believes in Walker and get their 2026 1st-round pick.
