No surprise Duke sensation Cooper Flagg was drafted by the Mavericks as the number one overall pick.

NBA insider Kevin O’Connor sums up Flagg perfectly:
“Flagg is a do-it-all forward who hustles like a madman, makes his teammates better as a passer, and has dialed in a knockdown jumper. He’s both the best offensive and defensive prospect in this draft class, making him the safest No. 1 pick in ages. It’s his growth as a shot creator that will decide if he reaches his All-Star floor or soars to his Hall of Fame ceiling.”
Here’s a look at the full Round 1 draft order.

Yang was meant to be drafted mid-second round, so was a surprise pick for Memphis. He joins Yao Ming (2002 No.1 overall pick by the Rockets) and Yi Jianlian (2007 No.6 overall pick by the Bucks) as the highest selected Chinese born players in NBA history.
A Nuggets source just texted me: “Chinese Jokic,” about the Blazers’ surprise selection.
