Franz Wagner scored 27 points as the Orlando Magic cruised to a 115-88 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, ending a five-game skid. Wagner’s efficient performance set the pace as Orlando secured its tenth straight home win, a streak dating back to last season.
The Magic (4-6) jumped out early, taking a 24-point lead within the first 18 minutes by converting six dunks, six layups, and four 3-pointers. Wagner’s brother, Mo, added 17 points off the bench, further bolstering Orlando’s offense, which maintained a comfortable lead for most of the game.
