Stephen A. Smith replied to Kevin Durant calling him a “clown” by saying he won’t stoop to the same level of disrespect. He finds it unfortunate that Durant’s sensitivity seems to grow with age, while his maturity does not.
However, Smith acknowledges Durant’s talent, calling him a valuable asset to basketball, and expresses genuine enjoyment in watching him play. He adds a parting remark, hoping Durant avoids another playoff sweep, as he’s experienced in two of the past three seasons.
