The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs were on major upset alert for most of the afternoon Saturday, trailing SEC rival Florida for nearly three quarters.
Tied at 13 late in the third quarter, Florida was set to attempt a field goal from inside the 35-yard line to re-take the lead but the holder missed the snap completely and the ball went skittering past the kicker toward midfield.
A mad scramble ensued and Georgia ended up recovering the loose ball, stealing a possession it desperately needed to change the momentum.
